Yes, Cate Blanchett is a wonderful actress and so is Tracy Ullman.
Yes! And Sarah. I think this series really brought our her top acting skills. Especially episode 8. Holy crap, that episode was powerful.
Was Phyllis supposed to be the antihero in this? This turned me on to her. I went and watched her debate. She is freakin AMAZING! An absolute legend!

I'm a big fan of Cate Blanchett, but I thought she played Schlafly too fake and smarmy, exaggerated almost to the point of comedy. I don't agree with Schlafly's political views, but she always seemed sincere to me.
She worked with the script she was given.
"I watched every interview that Phyllis Schlafly gave, and she gave a lot of them, and then you have put that aside and play what Dahvi has so brilliantly written." That's pretty much what happened here. No basis in reality at all. You have smeared a brilliant and compassionate woman and it's disgusting.
I am enjoying the show But all you have to do is look at the actual interviews and debates to see that most of this is made up to make Phyllis look worse than the feminists
Well on the contrary this show greatly, greatly embellished her personality and speech skills
