Toni this is such a pretty stitch. You have really made me want to try Tunisian crochet at last! You are so easy to listen to and you inspire confidence. I have bought a set of hooks now so that's a start! 😊 Thank you so much for all you do to help us.
Gyönyörű minta! Eddig csak az alap mintát használtam. Kezdő vagyok ebben a technikában. Csak most látom milyen sok féle képen variálható és alakulnak ki a szebbnél szebb minták. Köszi, hogy segítségemre vagy ebben. Üdvözlet Magyarországról!❤😊
I’m 83 and learning Tunisian crochet. Your instructions are so clear and wonderful. Thank you so much! I want to make this stitch in an Afghan. Thanks again!
"Shimmy-it" under those last two loops. PERFECT phrase. I'll use it from now on. My brain, for over 55 years continually said to itself, "Stick-it". I was never quite pleased with that...
I watched a different video on the same stitch before I came here. The other video was good. Yours is great! I've been crocheting for over 50 years and I am still learning new stuff. You're an excellent teacher and the production quality of your videos should be an example for everyone who is thinking about making instructional videos. I enjoy your personality and your clear instructions. I'm envious of the neatness and evenness of your stitches. You're really very talented. Thanks for sharing your talents with all of us.
It's taken me months and months, but I have FINALLY cracked this one. I'm now within sniffing distance of the tunisian lacy shell shawl of my dreams. Thank you *so much* Toni, I couldn't have done this without you.
I love your clear instructions and your pace is perfect for me. I get impatient waiting for instructors to move to the next step. But you keep moving along and make it fun. Thank you.
There are some people I have to speed up the video in order to listen to them. They're nice and clear but slow talking. Thank goodness TH-cam gives us an option to adjust the speed.
I'm so buying your blanket pattern! It's a perfect project to learn Tunisian crochet. Because of all these different squares, it will be NOT boring, like most afgans. Thank you!
Sister you're awesome 😎💯no faltu music to distract me. Although I'm not a beginner myself I am an avid crocheter. Toni your manner of teaching is brilliant 😉
I've been crocheting and knitting since I was a child. I've never been a real fan of knitting but my son wanted a knitted jumper. I can't wait to finish it so that I can start on tunisian crochet. I've watched so many videos but the voices dive me crazy so I watch with the volume off. I'm so glad I kept the volume on. The timbre of your voice is so relaxing. Thank you so much.
You're a terrific teacher. Great pace, not too slow or fast. Good explanation. There are only a few channels I subscribe to. Others mean well, but I just can't follow some ladies.
I just want to say thank you. I didn't even know what Tunisian stitch was, I had a needle in my stash for years and never knew what the needle was for. I crochet, I knit, I loom knit and all that good stuff. But after watching your videos on Tunisian stitch, I have to say that's going to be my best craft ever. Already purchased new needles just waiting for them to get here so I can start those beautiful stitch that you show us. thank you so much. you take your time and explained videos so picking up Tunisian stitch is going to be my easiest project ever.🤓🙌🏾🙌🏾
I'm making a scarf in size 10 crochet thread in this pattern. I shared my WIP with my crochet and knit group. They loved it, so I shared this video with them.
I just love this. It's so beautiful! You are such a great teacher! I really appreciate how slow you go to show how each stitch is worked and especially the very last stitch on the forward pass. I'm extremely new at Tunisian Crochet and so I'm having a blast with your vidoes and learning oodles!! Thank you!
I saw this stitch on Pinterest in a foreign language. There was no information on it at all. So I thought, let me try TH-cam and OMG there you were in English and all the information. WOW. Thank you.
Love this! I've only made a few Tunisian projects, one being the Harber Bucket Bag and I loved doing that so much. I might just try this to make a small cowl or something. So beautiful. Thank you Toni for your smooth teaching style, your voice is so soothing.
Hi Toni! I noticed that if you pull up loops through the back bumps throughout the stitch it looks even better! It’s a little more time-consuming, but I think the look is worth it! Try it out if you get a chance :)
You are incredibly good at simplifying these stitches. I’m still working on recognizing the correct stitch on the left and hand placement…work in progress…
Hi Toni! You are an amazing teacher! My niece and I are doing your Holiday Blanket together and so far it has been a wonderful adventure. I’m absolutely enjoying learning all of the new stitches with her. I will treasure this time with her.
Toni - you make this look So Easy! Thanks to your easy-to-understand tutorial, I’m going to jump out of my comfort zone and make a scarf using the Tunisian Crochet Lacy Shell stitch. Can’t wait to start!
Hello Toni, I want to thank you for your wonderful tutorial, you are an amazing teacher and a very nice person! I'm following you from Italy, thank you soooooo much! 😃
This is exactly what I was looking for to make a cover up as a gift for my mother, and I had to use Tunisian crochet. Thanks Toni. It's so pretty, feminine, and delicate. It will look beautiful in the bamboo cotton sport weight yarn I chose. I am just waiting for the right took size to be delivered. I have practice time. :)))
I just learned tunisian crochet recently, and your videos are helping me expand more! They're easy to follow. l like how you're very specific on pointing out the loops- I have a hard time identifying them still. This is such a fun stitch!! I would love to make a small blanket with this. Thanks for sharing!
@@mes373 I think you misread my comment, I said it is obviously NOT a stitch that you can just zone out on. I'm not a beginner or a perfectionist, but I also don't want to waste expensive resources. I also have a spatial relations deficit and have to pay close attention to what I'm crocheting😊
@@mes373 thank you. No harm no foul. There's a Tunisian picot baby blanket that's marked easy. I read the instructions and thought, easy for who? You have to count your stitches and since it makes a diamond pattern, the picots don't line up. Please..tried it and what a hot mess. Take care
Hi Tina I’ve actually finished a sample swatch. Thank you so much, you and Sarah Jayne have been my company over the last week or so where I’ve been learning new stitches. It’s been fun. I fancy doing some Doilies next. Thank you xxx
I love Tunisian crochet and look forward to trying each one even if I don’t make more than the sample! But what I REALLY enjoy is tuning in to check out the awesome colors you have on your nails!
Tony your work is so very lovely, I need to learn how to do Tunisian stitch, so after I’m finished w/my holiday blankets for nieces n nephews this is next on my list.
It looked so difficult, well what I mean, I had no idea how it was done and it is complicated looking, but you break it down and really it is quite easy, but oh so pretty. :) Love your Work Toni, Could watch you all day, Thank You.
I learn so much from your channel about Tunisian Crochet. Thank you for making bunch of super easy tutorial of Tunisian crochet. Love it so much. I'll use this stitch for my next project. Have a nice day ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Evening Toni! After few years I recently picked up my Tunisian hook and began a project. Your video instruction hits all points for me: clear, inspirational and a great pace! Thank you for creating this video and sharing this very very pretty Tunisian stich!
This is very interesting ! And my first time of seeing a different return pass in Tunisian crocheting making the shell pattern . So , one can make any pattern in Tunisian stitches! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful well explained tutorial; you are very very good; excellent!
Hi Toni! This is a lovely stitch! So pretty! I just love your tutorials! I just bought a set of the Clover Tunisian Interchangeables and I’m really excited to try them. Thanks for sharing this wonderful tutorial! Looking forward to watching the other tutorials you just put out, tomorrow! It’s after 1 a.m here, lol! Thanks again!😊🤗

I do a little trick with the chain. It's not pretty, but I like to cast on like a knitting needle because trying to go through loops hurts my thumb, my wrist, my hand in general.
I've recently started getting into crocheting things, other than blankets or scarves lol. That's how I came across your channel. After watching a few of your videos I ordered a set of tunisian hooks.
