The black screen thing they never gave an example so we can only wait and see, but the puzzle room on the other hand, doesnt solve my issue with it. Ever since they added puzzle rooms in penacony it's biggest impact is the fact that its an annoyance for exploration, not story. Its very reminiscent of a sokabon style puzzle where you would know how to solve it and have to reach that win state, which in this case, is like 5 minutes of walking around doing nothing. Seriously, please just add teleports in the room. As for them reducing combat, i think its a welcome change, they're not difficult in any way and are only annoying at best. They tend to reserve elite enemies for the good chests and some for certain story encounters which is fine imo so i think it saves the already excruciating amount of time it takes to walk around a map this big. Imo, the whole concept of a puzzle room feels terrible because they literally just made a puzzle room. Mobility and terrain play a pretty big role in making it fun. It was bad in penacony but now amphoreus rooms are just waay too big. A lot of the terrain is also reused, granted a lot of good games do this too, but it really suffers here because hsr is turn based, taking away the satisfaction you can have from smooth combat controls
Did sensei miss the part where it says they using current patch moments as examples and its not the actual changes like removing mobs and what not? Fobmaster did a much better job explaining and understanding the issues id highly recommend you guys check his criticisms about these changes out. Since Sensei's view on it is very blind and misses a lot of points even missed some text in it and just jumped to a conclusion so he didn't really do a good job covering it. (Which is understandable he dislikes the game so its fair)
@@sirbeary5942 I didn't miss anything, my read of it is they're going to implement those changes (in 3.0 story and exploration) as of 3.2 so the examples they gave are also in-game examples of what they're actually going to implement. Like how ZZZ removed the TV systems from 1.0 story in 1.4, etc. Edit: Also, even if they leave 3.0 as-is and only make those certain types of changes in 3.2 and onwards, that literally doesn't solve anything nor address any of the problems I pointed out in how they're going about "fixing" things.
hair reveal
Wow, I guess now there will be a white screens with black font.
Well I saw this one coming a mile away!!!!!
Every qol they implemented the last patch came with some kind of stupid caveat or its a small change that doesnt matter.
I have no hope.
