Spanish is not universal hahaha English is universal… Spanish is super hard because there are more than 20 Spanish speaking countries with their own accents and words… I’m Latina Puerto Rican and Spanish is my main language and when I started to watch Spanish from Spain movies it was so hard to understand them because of their accent and different types of words… and I’m fluent in Spanish lol it has happened with other countries too, for example Dominican Republic.
