Once again an immense respect for this new performance or display of force and quality (as usual).
You demonstrate us the infinite possibilities of game and it is very encouraging to see all the potential which hides in our small sound turtle.

Very nice the different sounds of the Ding ! I also listen to the birds at the beginning of the video. You tell me from birds . As always, everything is grooving !

    •  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

This B ding "Inpex" from Patheon steel is something totally diferent from the usual ding Apex.
Alot of sounds and textures I can produce from this.
The birds speak with me when I play , and I speak with them with music

That your blessings can touch my learning 🙏
In when videos of your techniques and secrets of games in exercises?

    •  9 ปีที่แล้ว

What do you want to learn ? :)

    • @emmanuelolla4991
      @emmanuelolla4991 9 ปีที่แล้ว

I shall like learning the technique when you moved your hand and when all your fingers slams the handpan as a rain
That it is a good thing to you even already at the beginning with your Bali;-) and as it is top it is resumed(taken back)..
You make him(it) almost for every sorry piece I do not know the name of this technique but you have also still made him(it) for the talent still congratulation for that
      Where are you moreover?
The talent you have him(it) has case there to see the eyes of juries
      Good luck

    •  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Okay ! Check ! I will do something really soon !

    • @Mandakinimusic
      @Mandakinimusic 9 ปีที่แล้ว +4

emmanuel olla Yes, that technique gives a very nice effect and im also trying to get it so...@kabeçao, it would indeed be great if you could make something explaining it. ;)
As far as I know, theres no real name for that technique besides Nadishana Roll, who I believe has started making it on other instruments before and then has been adapted to handpans.
Waiting anxious for that freebie explanation... :)

Hi Kabecao- so much beauty in this piece!
Are you changing the position of your knee under the sound hole to help change the timbre of the bass note?

    •  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Joyfulnoise Thanks brother!
Yes I'm making a bass line changing the size of te Gu Hole with my legs and my ears ;)

    Hey Kabeção,
Great grooves. I'm curious, what other instruments do you play? Your playing indicates a background in hand percussion or kit, but I can't say precisely what. I'm guessing a number of different instruments.
    Enjoying your music a lot!

    •  9 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hey Dom!
First of all, thanks for the feedback!
I play Drums, Guitar, Flutes, Didgeridoo, alot of Hand Percussion: Pandeiro, Riq, Darbuca, Djambé, Udus, Daf, Tabla... and some others.

Amazing piece, I'm in love with this instrument at the moment, I have a question though, at parts of the song such as at 1:54 where the pitch glides down to the B. Is that achieved by the pressure you're putting down on the centre of the pan? The pressure that you slowly release?
    Cheers :)

    •  9 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Tom.
That sound is made making a soft/control pressure on the harmonic spot.
The pitch raises and then soft/quick you release your finger , and the note goes back to the original tone.
I hope this helps to understand.

Wonderful! How do they get the red color?

    •  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks!
The metal gets diferent color depening of the tempering.
      Diferent temperatures give diferent finishings.
