    I live in a small house with my wife. 1 hour drive from the beach. Lots of flat water around my house. We buyed the aztron Nova Compact. Great value for your money. Its relaxing on flat water. We catched some waves on the beach. Lots of fun. It's easy to inflate and deflate. And easy to pack. Would definitely recommend.

    Hi! I know its been a long time since this video was published, but ill try to get advice.
    Im looking for a infantable sup board for normal swimming ( flat water, chop) and waves. I live by the baltic sea.
    Im thinking of buying aztron orion, but nowhere are there any specific opinions or films that would show how the board performs in all conditions.
    Can you white something more about it?

      Hello and thanks for the question. We are just about to test the Aztron Orion 8'6 for our iSUP surf test on SUPboarder Pro.
      We haven't tested this board before, but you would need some prior paddling experience to paddle this board as it's fairly small. It would be hard to paddle in chop and in the ocean if you weigh over 85kg, but with some experience it would work well in the waves.
      If you are looking for a board with some more stability, glide and ease of use, we'd suggest looking at other Aztron boards between 9-10ft.
      Hope this helps.
      Beau

    I am interested in the Neptune board. I really disliked the excessive rocker in the nose on the 2019 model. I am glad to hear they redesigned that for 2020 and reduced that rocker. Is there any other visual gives on the board or packaging so that I will know I am getting the 2020 model (without the nose rocker) when I try to buy it here in the USA?

      Hey Mike. All the Aztron boards for 2020 have US box fins fitted now. Not the slide in fin box that they had last year. Hope that helps Reuben

      @@SUPboardermag thanks so much, that us fin box should be a dead giveaway and another great reason to buy the new 2020 refined boards. Thanks again for the help and great product reviews.

    I just bought the Nova, and I love it!!
    I was curious if the bag/pump is waterproof so you can bring it along? And if not, how do you typically deal with the bag and pump if you do not want to leave it at the beach?
    Cheers!

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      If I cant leave the bag and pump behind I always take them on the board. The bags aren waterproof but they can take getting wet. The pumps also can handle the wet. I would want to swim with them but if they do take any water inside and few pumps later they are ready to go. But still worth drying out when at home. Thanks Reuben

      @@SUPboardermag Would you recommend putting the pump and the bag inside the drybag? I'm considering buying Aztron Nova Compact 11’ but can't figure out which drybag size I could use with it. Would 35-40L be big enough?

    Hey! If I want to get an electronic pump for these boards what type of valve does the pump need to connect to the SUP? Any electronic pump recommendations?

      @SUPboardermag  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Andrew, same answer as on other video comment .. Ideally you will be looking at a specialist iSUP pump. Pretty much all iSUP valves are the same. STX have a good iSUP pump that we have been using over the last few months. www.stxparts.com/product/electric-pump-incl-battery/ Thanks Reuben

    Hi, I found this video wonderful! Can I ask you an advice? I am looking for a Sup for lake paddling, I am 1,57 for 50 kg and I am not a beginner, so I am looking for a touring board, like Terra or Urono. I love Soleil extreme (but I think it is too long for me, isn't it). Or do you maybe suggest me an all around board? Thank you in advance
    Samantha

      Hi Samantha, Glad you found the video useful. If you are trying to paddle further than a longer board is great. But i wouldn't go any longer than 12'6".
      TBH at your weight I would say go for a thinner board, like 5" thick and it will be nicer to paddle at your weight. Watch this video to find out more info. th-cam.com/video/TzIzH1AXlO8/w-d-xo.html
      Thanks Reuben

    Hello, thank you for the great video! I need an advice for two sup purchases but lake paddling, most of the time for short tours of couple of hours. I'm 1.90 tall, 95 kg, and I was considering to buy a Titan for myself. For my wife, 1.60cm/50kg do you suggest a lunar or a mercury? Would you suggest the nova over the lunar? Thank you!

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Nicola, Thanks for your question. I think for your wife the Nova would be a great board choice at her weight. It will still give her plenty of stability and enough glide and it will go in a smaller bag and be easier to carry. thanks Reuben

    Comparing Aqua marina triton and Aztron Titan which would be the best choice from board quality and durability perspective only?

      @SUPboardermag  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      We really like the AQ boards. Good prices, good shapes and they look great too, but the bags and pumps aren't as good as the Aztron ones. The AQ are lighter which is a bonus for many paddlers. But to answer your question.. I would say they are about the same. I hope that helps in some way, many thanks Reuben

    Some of these boards have only 1 or 2 fins but not the 3. For a beginner which is more stable 1, 2 or 3 fins? Does it feel much different?

    • @SUPboardermag
      @SUPboardermag  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi D,
      Thanks for your question. As a beginner paddling on flat water, you won’t notice much difference with the amount of fins you have in your board. Generally speaking though, fins create some drag so having one fin in the board will create the least amount of drag. It doesn’t really matter about stability for fins, as a board's length and width takes care of this however, there’ll be a noticeable difference with paddling in a straight line if you have smaller fins vs bigger fins. A smaller fin, or fins, will turn the board more than having larger fins in the board, which would keep it on a straighter line.
      If you’re taking the board out into the waves, then you will notice a difference in the way it turns and feels on the wave. One fin in the board will make it pivot from the tail and sharply turn the board, where two to three fins will create more of a wider arc when turning (she say this has a more stable feeling). Hope this makes sense D?
      Thanks again,
      Beau

    Aztron nova 10/00 or fanatic fly air pure 10/4 2020?

      Hi, I guess if you are wanting a super small packed down board then the Nova is the one.
      TBH on the water they will paddle very close in feel. I think the Fanatic looks like a better board...but thats a personal thing! Thanks Reuben
