I noticed how thirsty this thing is after finally getting to use it and the best way to mitigate that seems to be with the Multipurpose Gearbox as it have the lowest base consumption of just 1.5 and only 15% AWD penalty compared to the 30% and 40% of the Highrange and Offroad boxes, which is a lot when AWD is permanently on. It is actually more fuel efficient than the basic Balanced gearbox most trucks have as stock, so I would recommend using the Multi even if it s a somewhat boring gearbox to use being so slow and lacking a Low+ gear.
Do not be fooled, the middle engine is the best for this truck, the bottom engine, the most expensive one, is wrose. The best tires for it are the MHS I tires, altough the default ones arent bad either, and are arguably better. The active suspension raises it more than the raised suspension.
@@AvarageYakuzaEnjoyer I'd sat the last engine is the best one. It has less power but like 1L less fuel burning. It is in the middle between the second and the first one but will have significantly more power than the 1st engine
The sooner they fix the new trucks axle hit boxes (the Kenworth has low hit boxes on the axle pumpkins as well but the tires are so tall you don’t notice it as much) the better
Also the channel SD1one did a review of both new trucks and tested various setups, apparently the stock tires on the Mack are actually really good in mud, as good as the OHS II these two tires outperform the others
@@jessaphillips2846 In my testing with logs the OHS2 would have taken another 5/10mins to get out of mud compared for MSH1. The Mack does have a few fundamental issues but is hopefully amended soon. The Kenworth I have no issue with performance wise
i unlocked this truck and only used it for maybe 1 or 2 missions. Its a nice truck but i find it very average. in almost every situation a different truck can be used more efficiently and for that reason i never thought or called upon the mack.
This rig is pretty brilliant ever since they fixed it's collision issues.

I did outline all of those points in the video
Why is the second to last engine option the best?
@@smitty683 Cause that one is more powerful. The last one is more fuel efficient though

"Axle pumpkins?" Did you mean the differential [housings]? 🤔
@@AtomizerX yes it’s automotive slang

I recently used it for the twin warehouse cargo mission in BC and it crushed it. Great for rapid semi-trailer haulage
@@koolkidlamar8115 You are so wrong... Play it more, it's absolutely fantastic truck! It has become one of my favorites 🙂
Cockpitview ?
Has a really nice cockpit, good viewing angles
Thanks ! But i see it not in your video ?@@DecPlays_
@@markhuiden8504 No because I review the performance of the truck
