It is great excitement when moving to a new home, especially one designed with love and fitting the needs of the homeowners! That place has a good vibes and it's close to the nature, plus it has a nice view, situated on the hillside.
I've noticed, you look more pretty during your visit. Is it because you are with family, or close to the nature, perhaps both!? The happiness gives you a natural glow. :)

Sort of feel that it's a waste in Korea to build your own home and NOT make a suite bathroom with a large bathtub. I also agree that the rooms are small given the exterior size... maybe the initial view is deceiving at the overall square footage or the space isn't utilized well.
They’ve been living in a house with 2 bathtubs each and never used them for years! I guess it was built to match their needs and conveniences:) They spend most of their time in the kitchen and the living room

Everyone values different things in their homes, so if they don't spend a ton of time in their bathroom or bedrooms, the importance of designing those areas in their new home would get less attention and less need for customization. Overall, it's a lovely home and what matters is that it suits their needs and THEY love it.

It's unfortunate that all beautiful views from Korean homes are blocked by unattractive power lines. Big improvement if you bury those lines.
My first thought was.... this place needs some SERIOUS landscaping... but considering it was probably an empty plot, that's nitpicking.
Firstly I like & love the new house, it's literally unique, fancy & a lot of things in its own way,...
The place & location is like the best choice for me👍
The location of the house is definitely peaceful stress free from the noice all you can hear is nature surrounding you and that fresh atmosphere...
The place is also a definite place to run away to from town because nothing can bother you at a place like this because you already have everything you need, shops, restaurants etc...
This be like one of those VACATION HOUSES , but it's not but it's 1000% worth it and everything in that was worth every penny 💥💥💥💥💯💯💯💯💯💯💯

I've watched several of your videos and have one question I feel compelled to ask. Drinking seems to be a big deal in Korea. Is there a big alcoholism problem in Korea?
Just seeing all these Korean food makes me want to research on how I can them myself, because everything just looks appetizing 😋

Lots of cool high-tech things... but some vital things I can't live without, like a bathtub and decent size room for my computer/study.
It is so pretty I love the finished look. the contrast colors with the red fence, the tones of the house. it turned out so beautiful. Now mom has some new markets to spend time getting to know - that will be fun.

I'm fascinated that they wear masks but not gloves while handling food. Here in the states, you NEVER touch food bare handed, as its very unhygienic. Are there regulations for food handlers in Korea? I don't know what that lady made, but it looked DELICIOUS! *drooling*

Love all of it especially the great fire place, kitchen etc. It is always been a wish of mine a house in the country, but it is so very very expensive in my country. But you always have to have dreams in live👍. I'm happy for them that they were able to fulfill their dream. I noticed there are no neighbors. Are the lots big and your family won’t have to worry about people building close. I like the stone fencing and how the house is built within the slope of the “mountain” versus flattening the land and putting the house on top. It’s very peaceful and secluded.

Not a fan of the whole "main kitchen" and "sub kitchen" area... I feel like that could have been opened up and utilized better or had the sub kitchen area be utilized for storage instead. Galley-style kitchens are just too hard to work in, but since I am not familiar with Korean cooking, it might be a nice are to work on smaller dishes.
we need a sub kitchens that smells a lot or requires a long time to cook. and everything is actually storage space haha all around the kitchen + sub kitchen was just to use the space we made for laundry room
