For the record. Hitler was Austrian.
… and Beethoven was German…
Which was part of the German "Reich" during the war. He was Austrian at birth, and was in Germany for a long time, served in the German military etc.
Calling him a German politician is accurate though.
What happened to Ukrainan elections?
Total number aside he is popular in Russia right
The vote result mirrored the US funded National Endowment for Democracy (NED) institutions polling numbers for Russia on Putin's popularity figures there...there is no "sham" about the result at all
And he has increased support now, because of our failed proxy war
Unbelievable the guy talking about Macron actually was speaking true...that's unusual ?
Is if a good idea to buy shares in Vickers, Rheinmetaal and BAe systems? Any other arms companies good for a buy? any advice appreciated to help out. I'm too old to be a merc on the ground. Thanks
Donate money to a charity that builds Mavic drones for Ukraine. If your that old I wouldn't be interested in buying shares.
Buy THALES shares😂

I have US Ratheum shares so thank goodness they wasted no time in replacing the Afghanistan war with Ukraine. What’s another affordable military to share to buy because this will force European (NATO) nations to place more sales orders?
Any mention of what is happening in the combat areas has almost disappeared from the podcast. Wonder why.
Ukraine does not have enough weapons, they are losing ground. Not a good thing to report. Can't get enough soldiers, lots of issues.
I think this show is just Ukrainian propaganda, so....

To answer Dom's question on a previous episode about the origin of the expression "open the kimono," expensive kimonos sometimes have very exquisite embroidery on the inside of the kimono where they can only be seen and enjoyed by the owner of the kimono. This was especially common during medieval Japan.
Macrn is right in that there was absolutely no good argument for not giving the Taurus to Ukraine. The 'escalation' argument is absolute nonsense, since there's no reason THIS would escalate more than all the other weapons we've already given.
How about not triggering an escalation in the war
Little Napoleon can go fight himself
I would like to think that Macron's comments are simply to frighten Putin, nothing more than that. If so, it's probably the right thing to do. However it isn't a popular move amongst French people, and it'll probably push more and more people towards voting for the opposition political parties.
It already looks like Macron is headed for a scalding by Le Pen’s party.
Emmanuel Macron's pauline conversion was additionally catalyzed by France losing its grip on Francophone Africa which undoubtedly has benefitted Russia.
And this war has caused Russia, China, India and Iran to forge an alliance.
Our brilliant strategists...
It did free up the French army. Better to let the russians have Africa than Europe.
best that no one has a "grip" on them, though... try and maintain a strong connection with them as we do with the commonwealth without direct imperialism or, as china and i think russia are doing, neocolonialism
Oh my, the last thing we need is Ukraine arguing with Germany. I´m usually not the one to criticize Zelensky, but antagonizing Scholz really isn´t going to help him. They never had a great relationship, so he should show some political savvy and negotiate with his other allies and ask THEM to put pressure on the Bundestag.
How’s that worked out so far?
@@mattsapero1896go beg for more money😂😂😂😂😂
He’s a psychopathic dictator. If by some miracle he defeats Putin he will invade Moldova next.
Something big or plentiful is being moved out of the Rock Island arsenal today. 4 C 130’s touched down this morning.

One comes away yet again with the feeling that Ukraine:The latest is the best source in English on the Ukraine conflict. Dom on the drone attacks on Russian refineries. His wit much appreciated. Henry Samuel on the Paris-Berlin-duel and Macron. James Kilner on the Russian 'election'. Rozina on US. Great stuff.
Listening from Italy.
Perhaps next time Dom can update on what is happening around Robotyne.
Also an update on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant, please! R (Australia)
Regards Macron's current motivation. Those of us who grew up across the 1950s and 60s and 70s, were exposed to France taking the European lead on avoiding American hegemony and global leadership. Given current American ambivalence on supporting Ukraine, and an emerging sense that Europe must support Ukraine out of its own resources; isn't Macron simply tapping into a French attitude towards America, that has existed since at least the end of WW2. Taking up a leadership mantle vis a vis the USA, that has a significant history in France and Europe. I suspect that Macron's current stance regards Russia, chimes strongly with a large constituency across Europe and the UK.
If america hadn’t invaded Europe, the French would all be dead or German today.
Macron is JUST posturing and looking at the polls numbers😂
Exactly. He must think we’re all that stupid. I guess some of us are 😂
It's always the kremlin trolls enjoying their genocidal war in Europe believing russia will somehow survive Putin.
We're is Vicki ? Get Vicki back sort this mess out !
Don‘t forget apart from the critic Trump got for not visiting the USA burial grounds, he did appear impressed by the parade in Paris and asked for the same to take place in Washington.
Ah yes. Apparently the need to baby his comb-over in slightly-damp slightly-windy weather was more important than honoring the sacrifices made by hundreds of thousands of soldiers.
The Telegraph is one of the famous english daily. It is published by Ananda Bazar Patrika.
I do like bias bias I mean the voters in that part of Moldova do vote pro russian people by their own choice. They then get denied the seat in parliament by law... so we have a persecuted group but it's all in their mind right...
Putin needs to hurry up and get rid of Ukraine
Should be interesting to hear the Telegraph team direct their acerbic wit at the Ukrainian elections..........oh
Britain cancelled elections during WW2.
What’s your point?
😂😂😂😂 so much stupidity in few minutes l never heard.
But thanks, l laugh so much😂😂😂😂
Not “Bundeshtag”, but “Bundesstaak”
Targeting planes have to be light targets in war right.. not saying they will or should attack them but they are part of war effort
Did he really say that Macron has turned the war into a fight?!
Ironic that a few Brit reporters are complaining about ACTUAL Russian elections when the last 2 UK Prime Ministers were entirely unelected.
We don't elect prime ministers - we elect a party the prime minister is the head of the party - the UK is not the USA
Putin is doing a great job.
Give Taurus a chance
Well after sending all these prisoners to the front they can fill them up again with new prisoners 😢

@ExtremeRidersJodhpur what a silly comment. Grow up.
Useless twaddle😂
We know putin is going to mobilize more troops now he's got another term as president, and we know ukraine is already in hot water without ammo. So my guess is nato troops will help defend territory
⚔️🇷🇺♥️🇮🇳⚔️
'we know' we know sh*t all pardon me french
No they wont. It is just bluffing.
NATO won’t go into Ukraine because it takes only one veto to stop it.
Russia attacked a sovereign country, and that is wrong and against the rule-based order.
With that out of the way (so people don’t think I am a Russian troll), I do wish for the days when journalists were reporting news and not providing constant commentary. It is a small step between commentary and propaganda.
For example, saying Putin is a murderous dictator is 100% factual. But hearing journalists provide their ‘views’, many of which are really biased, goes against journalism.
What is even sadder is that it MAY have played a part to the current ebb of support for Ukraine! How? Because ‘journalists’ like these ones kept painting a picture of an Ukraine that can never do wrong, that is always winning on the battlefield, and a Russia that is woefully incompetent and get absolutely wrecked.
That was true at the beginning (Putin had massively miscalculated and tried to do too much with limited resources and poor resourcing), but the ‘cheerleading squad’ painted a picture of an infallible Ukraine.
So, when the counter-offensive failed (and even that was not painted as a ‘failure’, even though Ukraine lost a lot of the Western-trained troops), it came as a ‘surprise’ to many who had been hearing how Ukraine was always winning.
Which made people think that Russia had done some sort of massive rout, when all that had happened was normal battle.
Anyway, the truth will eventually come out. Let’s see.
Anti Kremlin no different than Jan6
The Presidential election in Russia this time around was more a referendum of support for Russia's SMO and the policies of the Putin government in overcoming sanctions than it was for determining who would be President. People queued for hours and travelled to polling stations in frightful weather so that the West would be forced to acknowledge Russian unity behind the SMO and the Putin government's policies. It matters little if the West does not recognise this however as it will not change the situation n regard to Russian triumph over a NATO backed Ukraine. Donbass will be fully liberated in several months and then we will likely at last see a Russian offensive.
Slava ukraini
The war is lost in Ukraine.Save your money
Thanks for the propaganda.
Excellent coverage
This is hilarious.
If the Ukrainians are all voting for Putin then do we really want those territories to come back to the Ukraine?
NO. That's why forbso long there has been such conflict.
Sometimes cats and dogs are both better off in separate boxes.
Look up the Levada center pulling organization and their pull from late 2023. Levada is supported by NED
According to the Russian non-governmental organization Levada Center, about 85% of the Russian population approved of Putin in the beginning of 2023, the highest in nearly 8 years.
It all comes from Washington

Russia is not improving its weapons much. Little tweeks. Armada and even T90 have been abandoned. Russia needs western electronics to improve and it is too expensive. Instead they have decided more quantity is better, and they have done that pretty well
@@stevenpace892 general Petraeus said that to u did he? Thats why ukraine is begging for more weapons and says it's running out? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Love Putin
The West's hopes of shaking the political situation in Russia failed in the same way as destroying its economy. Russia today is a stable, self-sufficient society, and the West needs to take this into account, since it itself does not have such stability, and the reverse process may occur to what happened with the USSR, which disintegrated.

Not even the Soviet Union survived a confrontation with the West. Russia is utterly doomed.
What's the status of the French foreign Legion? Do they play any part at this point?
The first or second most common place of origin of the troops in the FFL is Russia.
The Legion is part of the French military. If it is deployed, that would constitute french involvement in a conflict.
Gotta love the durability of a decades-old well-landed barb from The Simpsons (even if not actually accurate---they get invaded and we, the island/anglophone (US, UK, Can, Aus) victim-blame, forever, I guess). But come on, 'Cheese-eating surrender monkeys' has a ring to it.

Ukraine is fighting for its own downfall
And here is the propaganda on my reccomended feed.
Nato should move troops into Maldover, assuming their parliment is ok with that.
They should then pass a law if one is not already in place that only the Moldovan police and army can bare arms. Anyone owning arms will be considered a terrorist or revolutionary.
They should then disarm the Russians soldiers and if they do not disarm deport them.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Poor Ukraine running out of friends. 😅😅😅
Russia is mobilizing on every corner of the front lines.
Ukrania keeps on retreating.
Russia keeps on gaining ground everywhere.
All this would have been avoided with a ¢30. Ink pen for neutrality.
Russia invaded because Ukraine was neutral.
Ukraine seized to be neutral when russia invaded.
Neutrality isn't the answer, it's the problem.
