The Happy Baby food grinder is the one present my mom gives every new mom; she used it for me when I was a baby and, of course, I used it for my two babies! Good find!
Had the same baby food grinder with my oldest son who is now 34yo. It was a hand me down from a cousin that is now 40! Definitely been a tried and true item.

Oh yes, the baby food grinder! Used it on our 3rd. child, way back in the early 70's. Never bought baby food for him like we did for our girls. Glad to see they still have them. Whatever the family had for the meal, he had the same!
Great score on the food mill. I rarely bought "baby" food for my son. I was able to use a food mill for just about everything and my blender for the rest. That way there were no additives or excess salt.

Thank you so much for showing the scenery and where you were driving. My sisters and our parents used to go and spend the night and have such a fun time. My dad has passed away and my mom has dementia and is living in a nursing home now. We haven't been in quite a few years. It was so good to see you driving away from Berlin, because it all looked so familiar. We always went thrift shopping while we were visiting.

Aw - I remember Ohio Thrift Store fondly! I thrifted a lot of glassware there for use in my wedding. Definitely miss that store now that we live (ironically) in Lancaster, PA.
That's so funny, we were just at Harvest Thrift not but 2 weeks ago. While we went down to pick strawberries at the Harvest Barn. I enjoyed learning of the various fabric stores in your other video. We get fabric from Zinck's usually. I'm looking forward to exploring these other places. It's a treat for us to stop at the Amish Cafe (big maple glazed donuts and coffee!), Swiss Bulk Foods, and the thrift stores.

Thrifting in Holmes County is one of my favorite places to thrift. The prices are so much better than where I live & the stores are so clean & organized. We’ve been to many of the stores you featured. Great video. Makes me wish I was there now!

42/43 years ago.. I had one of those baby food grinders for my sons.. I loved the ease of use.. I used it all the time..

I used the baby grinder back in the 70s and would use extra veggies and fruits from my table. I put portions in ice trays and froze them .
