Sat is same but make sure your RECEIVER is turned ON And after you run your auto program, you tune your tv to the right input (coaxial tune to channel 3/4, RCA tune to AUX or VID depending on the make of your tv, HDMI tune to HDMI input. Should be a button that says input or aux on remote to tune to AUX or HDMI
That input on the Toshiba TV (but different model) had only 1 channel in my apartment when the Xfinity digital adapter was connected through. It was channel 3 with 480i SD picture format. The name of the network appeared on the bottom sometimes appeared

In any case new TVs now days are probably slightly different when setting up & hopefully you can do it. Gone are the days where you just plug in a TV & you're done...right?!
Pamela Munn You'll have to go into your settings mode. All tv hand held remotes are not created equal so I don't know exactly how you will get there on your particular remote. Carefully look at your buttons & see what you need to do in order to get there. If you have questions after that you can take your remote the a store that sells tvs & ask a sales person to help you. Do you have a setting area? Try going there then play around to see if you can find it.
Whatever tv brand you have google that brand then your question. See if that works.
Go to Best Buy & tell them what brand of tv you have & ask them the question & they might be able to show you on one of their tvs with the same brand.
