She went to her room and brought that old little palette I had given to her. Most of the shadows had big pan on them. You can see that item had been very well loved for sure. It was a rectangular 12 pan pallete with the plastic translucent lid that you can see the shadows through. It had beautiful colors some blues, some greens, and some neutral shadows. They complemented her green eyes very well which is why I had given it to her. She said she wore it all the time, and she does not use it anymore, but she kept it because it reminded her of me. I almost cry because I had forgotten how much, back in the days, her and I used to treausure our very inexpensive make-up, and she remided me that there is still a lot of people who have a small collection and that is their treausure. That day I gifted her about 5 or 6 eyeshadow palettes and amongts them the sweet talk palette, one of my most beloved palettes, to keep sharing the love. So now, I have a story every time I see my sweet talk palette. #samsquad even when give away is closed. 💕

I agree. I have been in the biz for 35 years. A selling point for higher end makeup is the packaging . Good quality will not break when half way through use. Poor packaging usually does break, crumbles rendering it a waste of money.

My oldest palette is a Dior palette I bought at Macy's on Union Square in San Francisco in 1996. There is a little left in it, and the color is so good I can't throw it out. It is also my first palette.

Lately being that I have to wear a mask at work and can't really do a full face ive been into just using a cream shadow and putting it on the lid smudging into the crease. Its so quick and easy and always look good.
Modern Renaissance was my first palette and I kind of judge new palettes I'm considering by comparing them to it! It hits warm and cool, dark and light, and I feel like so many palettes were modeled after it when it became so popular! I'll probably keep mine for too long, too.

I agree. I have been in the biz for 35 years. A selling point for higher end makeup is the packaging . Good quality will not break when half way through use. Poor packaging usually does break, crumbles rendering it a waste of money.

My oldest palette is a Dior palette I bought at Macy's on Union Square in San Francisco in 1996. There is a little left in it, and the color is so good I can't throw it out. It is also my first palette.

I just got the modern renaissance pallet and am excited to use it since EVERYONE loves it. But my fav will always be Lorax shadows. I love my mega pro 2 pallet. It’s huge but has everything I want and more.

Lately being that I have to wear a mask at work and can't really do a full face ive been into just using a cream shadow and putting it on the lid smudging into the crease. Its so quick and easy and always look good.

Modern Renaissance was my first palette and I kind of judge new palettes I'm considering by comparing them to it! It hits warm and cool, dark and light, and I feel like so many palettes were modeled after it when it became so popular! I'll probably keep mine for too long, too.
