This was on his first solo album in 84. I was 20, and i played this ALL THE TIME. He spearheaded the neo classical, guitar instrumental, shred scene in 80s metal. It was glorious back then.
Are you kidding? He's been named at the top of the guitar GOATs list for decades (ignoring Rolling Stone's stupid recent list). I've played for 34 years and Yngwie has always been known as one of the absolute best.
He was actually playing a classical guitar. It's kind of like an acoustic guitar but not really. His time with Alcatrazz was awesome with Graham Bonnet as vocalist.
wow...never heard of this group either, but...boy! what a phenomenal performance. Thanks for sharing. I thought I'd suggest another song by a band I believe you've reacted to before and seemed to like. "Mike & The Mechanics- All I Need is a Miracle (TopPop)" --The backstory on this band is crazy, so be sure to check out the bands that these musicians and artists have been in prior to them becoming Mike & The Mechanics)" Great reaction, bro thanks.
Good reaction vid, bro. If you like Yngwie's playing, then you should definitely check out the metal guitarist DAVID T. CHASTAIN. His albums Instrumental Variations, The Heat Within, and Elegant Seduction are really awesome! 🎸🔥🔥🔥🔥
This guy was a real Ritchie Blackmore fan very good musician but very arrogant, another musician who couldn't keep singers, I think he's from Austria could be wrong. Good to see you Shawn, I haven't been around much shock tongue cancer diagnosis, meeting with the specialist to discuss the plan, don't know what stage but the reason I'm putting it here is because I have oncology nursed for ten years and knew a, mouth ulcer that didn't heal after three weeks was a warning sign. So I thought if more people knew it may stop the radical surgery. Great reaction Shawn keep rocking😊🇬🇧
Tracy, I am so sorry! Praying for some good news for you! I HATE cancer so much 😠I really hope it's early enough for you to be treatable and for everything to be ok for you! Thanks for sharing for others. I have to have a colonoscopy every 5 years (instead of the standard 10??) due to polyps. Cancer runs in my moms side of the family...
@@ShawnSalvadori I am so pissed off the triggers for tongue cancer are heavy drinking and smoking well I drink about four glasses of wine a year, and have never smoked in my life. I just thought putting it somewhere like you tube might make people aware, I already was which is why I went to the doctor's straight away. Don't envy you the colonoscopys only had one worst thing ever. But you must keep up with the screening. I will still bug you from time to time on your channel. Hope the family is okay.

Never heard of him before but thanks for this. This was great!
Amazing! I loved this. ♥
He is from SWEDEN. 🥁☮☘
I've seen this video somewhere else, isn't he fantastic on the guitar.
Gifted
It's a pity no one ever says his name among the guitar GOATs.Another guitar player no one mentions is Roy Clark a Country artist with mad skills.

Yngwie Malmsteen's version of "Carry On My Wayward Son" would be a great listen.
