This is VERY true! I find that when I'm doing a short nail, it's much easier for me to float it on for consistent coverage. With these long swatch sticks, I end up with it pooling on the sides when I float, lol. 🙄 😅
That's what I've been thinking too. It just seems that when I try that with these long swatch sticks, I end up with such bad pooling on the sides that I have to be so careful. It seems like it's much easier for me to use syrup gels with short nails, lol.
I find that with syrup gels it is easier to float the product rather than actually brush it on heavily. :)

Youbneed more product on the brush but less heavy strokes, try to float the product
