I really enjoy these sappy old radio shows like Johnny Dollar, Dragnet, Highway Patrol, This is Your FBI, Mr. District Attorney, Counter Spy, Dangerous Assignment. Can I say, “radio noir?”
If I have to make a suggestion, I'd recommend giving the radio show Gunsmoke a chance. The first 100 episodes helped differentiate the series from the typical western gun shooter genre that we're all familiar with. Melancholic is the best way to describe the series during the initial run.

One of the best episodes!!!
Mack MacClan sounds like voice actor Bill Thompson (Jock the Scottie dog in Lady & the Tramp original 1955).
Jodhhny gets left all alone when all four suspects depart. It’s on to Acapulco, beauty dies and the killer is revealed
Poor Johnny...
The titles of JD’s videos, mostly have “MATTER” in them, while the Dragnet series all have “BIG” in them. Just an observation.
*I'm gonna change my name to Johnny Dollar.*
