Not saying it didn't happen, but I honestly don't remember the frame rate problem. This game came out while i was in high school, years later we had so much fun with this one. It's friends would like play hide and seek with the 2 players and would play survival to see who could last the longest. We all were in awe over the concept of changing cars and we always talked about how cool it would be to have a game like this with guns. It was an often tossed around their that guns were in the game cause tanners shadow on the ground shows him holding 2 guns. Then.... GTA 3 came out.... so many memories. Nice video!!
Thanks, mate. As you can see in the video, the frames goes down to single digits at times, this wasnt me slowing the video down on purpose. Maybe the later Platinum/Greatest Hits Versions of the game ran better, that i dont know. I played the Black Label version of it. But even the issues the game has certainly dont stop Driver 2 from being an amazing game in any way. It is an amazing game that even pushed the original Playstation to its limits, more so than the original Driver. GTA 3 broke all kinds of boundaries and records but Driver 2 did an exeptional job in what it did. I am following this up with Driver 3.
@@dragondavemk7917 oh Bro, not saying you did anything wrong. Not at all. I guess maybe at the time it did, I just don't remember it. Been ages ago... I had driver 3 on Xbox. It was glitchy and got a lot of hate, but I liked it. I guess gaming wise stuff like that doesn't bother me as much as other people. I'm 42, my first console was an atari 2600.. lol
@@TN_T_ No worries, man. Btw, happy new year. Depends when you last played Driver 2. When i played it as a kid, i remember it having frame issues but playing it for this video again, the issues were worse than i remembered. My original discs are in good condition and my Test PS3 works perfectly so, its the game. If i remember correctly, even the developers stated later on that they should have released it for the PS2 instead of the PS1. I dont have Driver 3 on the X-Box. So i am playing it on the PS2 and its the first time i will actually beat it. I only played it once or twice many years ago for a very short period of time and back then i didnt like it at all. I will be honest, i just called it a "GTA clone" (which is what i didnt want Driver to turn into) and moved on. But playing it now.............yes, the game has issues, even a major one that almost tanks Driver 3 hard but overall, i can already tell that i actually like the game more than i thought i would. I will try to finish the game and upload the video by mid-January so, if you are interested, you will then be able to hear my full opinion on it. My first console was a NES (i am 36 years old) but the original Playstation was the console that actually turned me into a "hardcore gamer"..........as i call it. And i still am to this day. Before that i was just a casual.
Very cool vid boss
