@Zyan buddy I mean in comparisom with ios, it's hard to explain most apps don't even support the aspect ratio and the animations them selves are porky made. I know I sound nitpicky but it feels like Samsung gas given less attention to detail. Anyways thr main reason I switched to apple was the m1 on the laptop and the a14 on the phone combo it's frankly amazing. I know I made some compromises on 100x zoom and high refresh rate and whatnot but hey no product is perfect

It is way more fun to root your device and Installing a custom ROM. This way you can even install newer versions of Android on older devices that don't support it anymore by Samsung for example.

@@yoshisarchives you need to go to the settings section look for the app you want, press the three upper dots to the right and you'll see an option wich says uninstall updates. That bassiclly unistalls the app in a way. Or simply select disable app aswell. Wich will disable the app but not delete any updates realized to it. You can do this on all androids.

As someone who recently changed the operating system on my phone, I can tell you that there is a very big difference between an OS and a Launcher. I recommend everyone look into an alternative OS for their phone, if only for privacy. Changing the Launcher is purely aesthetic. It's basically a step up from changing your wallpaper.
Not everyone can have an iPhone, so launchers are made....
Meanwhile, launchers are also helpful...

I use this exact one and have since November of last year. It can slow down your phone from what I've heard but I'm too stubborn to change it. You can also change app icons and app names incredibly easy on the app you showed

Uhh, that's not really the point of the vid.
The point is you can change the look and feel of your entire phone with an app on Android. He just showed one of them, which happens to be Apple like.
I have the Niagara launcher, which rethinks the home screen all together. Now, I could slide on the side to quickly get to any app! And sliding on app icons can show me anything from shortcut to other apps, widgets or shortcuts.
Some people really swear by Nova, which allows its user to really customize their phone.

These things are the reasons why I won't switch to an iPhone, at least as of 2023.

Android 10 gestures don't work well with custom launchers because of the recents page being provided by the default launcher. If you root you device, you can install QuickSwitch and set a custom launcher to provide the recents so that you get great gestures. Also, you can Install a custom ROM, what's even cooler :)
How to do that I have root

2. Reboot your phone
3. Install Lawnchair (or another launcher that supports it)
4. Open the quickswitch app and select the launcher. The phone will reboot.
5. Select the launcher as home in your settings
