Same for me that's what got me into rc cars to begin with
Later I found out that the previous owner put the right rear at 2• toe-in and the left rear 0• toe-in. Along with the HSP tires it was very unstable. Now it is getting the right treatment. New wheels are coming.

I have a highly modified 1997 nitro RS4 with a tall geared two speed and an OS .18 CVR, and it hits 70+ mph. It can take quite a few modern electrics off the line too. I have newer cars and trucks both nitro and electric, but my nitro RS4 always takes folks by surprise. It’s so well maintained they can’t believe it’s 23 years old.
Nitro is not slow! Nitro actually handles speedruns better too. Electric speedrunners run really strong and expensive motors, lipo's and esc 's in order for to handle the high current at full speed and even then it still cathes fire from time to time! We just fuel up, tune and do speedruns for all day!
Were did you order the gears from and what theeth count do they have 1st and second gear?

Bought my first one in 2006, loved it so much I bought another 4, just in case lol! They are so reliable, my first one still running strong (on its 3rd engine), the others barely run in/kept in their boxes. Best 1/10 on road nitro car for me!

Hello. Can you tell me the part number of the back plate for the roto starter on the Trophy Truggy? I need one, please.
You should look for a Roto start backplate of the Force .28 engine (That's the engine that is used in the Trophy 4.6)

Man...take it on the highway cuz you're NEVER gonna get enough run up to hit max speed 3rd gear... lol. The FM radios can go a good 1k meters when they want to, I wouldn't worry about that...just dont run an AM system. Too much interference in the air in 2010+ for am radios :(
When I was younger there was an rc track with a 1/4 scale oval that I bet you could have run this thing out of speed on... but nowadays I can't imagine where you'd even go to try. Those 1/4 scale cars were the real monsters, like an RC Gokart.
Hello. Can you actually use offroad fuel also for onroad cars? I got 5 liters from my neighbour and there are those rules that you cant buy nitro fuel over 15%.
I’m just getting into nitro rc cars again after many years. Can I ask why you say we shouldn’t use 27Mhz transmitters? You mention they’re dangerous?

I have the same car it does 80mph not 60mph. You will need a lot of road and good transmitter. I just his a road marker day before yesterday accelerating and flipped it more or less cartwheels. Broke the rear turnbuckle ripped out the dog bone.😢
I was able to repair everything from other rc scrap plus i had a turnbuckle i was able to use..fixed the dog bone where the pin came apart from the nuckle. Crazy just finished and seen this video most recent of the Fusion 21
We barely even reached the 3rd gear. This car is too dangerous to drive full speed lol it should be illigal 😂
@@NitroMike Yes the acceleration is brutal and everything happens very quickly! It was my fault it hit the road reflector im usually an ace driver. Im glad i was about to repair the damage, parts are not at Walmart lol🤘🏾

I came here to watch vintage nitro car, and I was hit by "2005 year"... And words "really old one" just killed me, and my thought was "is there something with RC history I have no idea about". Then I started to searching about its history... Now my question is: Are you from USA? Because you sound alike an american: "Hey look here, we got some VINTAGE nitro car, it's seventeen years old!" When I read "vintage" I was expecting something like 80's maybe early 90's nitro car, not 2005 ;P :D

Just get a GT then. That is basically a 1/8 buggy with a foam bumper and a onroad bodyshell on it

Did you find out what’s wrong with the belt? I have the 21 and 28 fusion and one of them might have the some problem I haven’t had time to look at it let me know thank
The belt got stuck because a rock entered the driveline and completely destroyed the belt
The ropes in the belt that reïnforce the belt winded around a pulley and ripped all the rope out of the belt cousing it to lock up. The belt before the bash wasn't in perfect condition, but the donuts killed it.

I get small rocks stuck in the rear wheels. Running on the street. Backpack blower. 😂
How much running time do you get with 1 fuel tank?
10-15 minutes depending on how agressive you drive

Nothing kicks the ass on my Traxxas nitro for tech I need to find one of those freaking awesome car threespedd it’s like everything you have on like a serpent like track on road high speed race car but like in a more of like a 10 scale design basically and the original engine is Bilt in Italy
I am pretty sure they got shipped with the TRX3.3 which is definitely not made in Italy.

@@NitroMike my goodness that’s crazy yeah that’s a straight big block my eight scale nitro has a 21 it would be so hard to find one used my nitro for tech go 70 but you could really go really quick with one of those with proper gearing and it just freaking rips up the tires you could barely keep that thing on the road by the way what type of car was that with all the HPI orange anodized aluminum stuff anyways right on I’ll make some more videos soon and let’s see that thing I TopSpeed if you can get better tires or something

Revo's can be a lot of fun but also a lot of pain! They are a nightmare to wrench on
I actually bought a new dynamite .19 for my rustler along with a new 3 shoe clutch and ths racing pipe and header. Going to attempt to make the rustler a “track toy”

I have a Schumacher Fusion X28
the old bmt had 3 speed gearboxes too and they are much older and much better. Also it is not that fast for 3 speed, 1 8 nitros like serpent 977 chassis is much faster on 2 speed, the engine is not the best in the schumacher

It is belt driven through so it can't go offroad or else rocks would get caught up in it the whole time

@@nitrogas5719 This thing would still spank most ewords since they don't do 0-60mph within 2 seconds and this also will not have any esc overheating issues lol
@@NitroMike yep, and they don’t have any lipos to charge, our batteries take like forever to drain because it’s just powering servos, no electric motor
