Thank you Mr. Hugo. I learn a lot from your videos. Highly recommended to anyone who is struggling in Heat Transfer this subject.

My secret weapon to acing my heat transfer class! Haha well not so secret since I’ll tell everyone about your channel. Thanks!

Why does having zero heat flux at the wall make the Temp profile be concave down?

Thanks you for the information... It's really helpfull and you teach it very nicely... I didn't understand when the same topic I learn in college

Hello. In numerical modeling applying at mesh nodes a heat flux what results can give me? For example if a closed-loop heat pump is connected with some pipes which are extracting heat for the ground, can I model the heat exchanger pipes as heat source through a heat flux by defining it at different time-steps based of the building needs or is it better to rather impose the input temperature resulted from power needed and temperature which is coming out from the soil? I don't understand how exactly this initial conditions works and what can I get out from them. I need the difference between inlet/outlet temperature to determine how much of the power needed can the heat pump cover, but I don't know how should I put this into a numerical modelling.
Maybe you can explain it to me or to guide me to some material where I can learn from. Thank you!!

Thank you for your video! For 3) what would the SS temperature distribution look like past the wall? Would there be a discontinuous jump at the boundary layer like this and asymptotically approach T_inf ?
