Nice work, On the canopy have you tried Alclad gold? It’s very fine and if you thin it and apply a light coat then back it immediately with clear lacquer it looks amazing. The goal is to not allow the flakes to lie down flat. It will resemble the gold film in canopies for sure. I’ve tried this on a 1/8 F-16 canopy and in the sun the highlight is perfect but in shade it’s till clear.
Beautiful model, your work is inspirational. Is it just my imagination, or are some of the molded parts, particularly the cockpit, much similar or maybe the same with Great Wall, Minibase, and Kinetic? All have great looking kits of various SU types, but some of the parts look very much the same. High quality.

I had a fall a couple of weeks ago and slipped 4 discs and shaved a bit of arthritis off it that’s grown over the break site. Need this to stop me feeling like a loser. Daytime tv can only do one thing,involving Jack Daniels and pain killers. Don’t want to do that so this is my choice. Anyway. Thanks sir for the hints. Look forward to some more tutorials from you soon. 😎
