    Biggest advice I can give (10 mins in) is that video audio level should be maintained throughout the video. For effect being louder can help as long as its not that much louder. @ 4:00 you play very loud music then go back to talking volume. So far, great video.

    • @The-Inner-Self
      @The-Inner-Self  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I will definitely take that into account for the future, there is some audio normalization that can be done with a longer transition back to speaking volume. Hope you enjoyed the rest!

    Existential truths often feel like things you already knew. While fragments of this "common sense" may have been a part of our conscious thought it's also familiar as most of us live this reality daily. Just because it was familiar does not make it less profound, and it is a challenge to articulate as well as you did concepts that are as fundamental as these are. Looking forward to the other strategies

    Can't wait for the rest of the series! While you left us with a cliffhanger I think you answered quite a bit here as it relates back to what we CAN control (without coming out and saying it of course)
    Its really easy to get caught in the existentialism / the fundamental insecurity of our human existence... but I still left your video feeling empowered :)

    Wtf this is insanely good. Honestly, on the verge of a life changing video. I am FASCINATED with the meta level analysis of life, and this is just the perfect content. Subscribed and looking forward to you having a 100k subs in 6 months if you keep putting out gems like this.
    How did you get the idea for this video?

    • @The-Inner-Self
      @The-Inner-Self  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      A lifetime of trying to make sense of the motivations of individuals I observed combined with a lot of reading and consumption of philosophical content. And also a lot of conversations with good friends on making the best out of the existential burden of existence =)
      I'm really glad it spoke to you that much, if there's anyone else you think would benefit from it please share with them!

    this is a really strong video and great start to the channel. I would love to see some relative quotes from great thinkers that allow for the viewer to take it where they want to. Perhaps interviews with experts in relevant fields that relate to the narrative you take us through. - An economist quipping in on supply and demand. A bit where someone made a choice to improve themselves and it paid off. Or a time a change led to failure. Even though you do a great job expressing these topics, when it comes from other people it hits harder. It could really strengthen some areas and allow for a more open ended interpretation for the audience. Really sell us on the statements you make with some evidence from other people. The audience doesnt know you or who and why you're talking about this stuff - but a quote from a great philosopher and an example from other people can deliver the message for you.

      Hey, thank you for the feedback. The Survival Strategies are a thesis that I have been working on for a long time and put significant effort into ironing out philosophically. Nonetheless, to your point, who am I to make such assertions? My genuine answer is that this is a thought experiment designed to be followed in a way that builds from easily digestible assertions, regardless of one's philosophical education or background.
      There are many contemporary and ancient philosophers, existentialists, economists and psychologists that could be quoted and ideas compared to. But to deeply explain the underpinning of each assertion would have at least doubled the length of the video, and I am already taking viewer attention and interest into mind. I did consider this before posting, but genuinely did not know where to insert it without then obligating myself to insert it everywhere. I originally had a giant script that had to be cut down to 1/3rd of what it was, because I realized that I was making a video, not a research paper. This first video had to build significant foundation and cover a lot of concepts in the shortest time possible and it was still almost 20 minutes 😅.
      The next videos in the series have significantly more wiggle room, so I'll definitely take it into consideration!

      @@The-Inner-Self That video changed the way I defined what to he human is. We are just the life's way of reaching the global maxima. Humans are no more than the life's mechanism for fighting against the local maxima entropy, which will take the Earth away in some billions of years.
