I love it ! More items was nice but this is one more reason to do these higher difficulties. Can't wait to see if this affects Rok'delar and Benediction, or even Thunderfury !
Not rly sure how I feel about it. This might be just enough to ensure that the only grp's forming are the sweaty ones that have nothing better to do mid summer than play wow, and once again the more casual player are left behind because we don't parse high enough to get an invite.
@@jordanedwards2714 no, and I agree with that. I just imagine we could see the same problem we currently see in p3. Major population drop of and the average Joe don't get to play the content due to the min/max parse mania. That does not fit the demographic they were trying to reach if you belive the devs, at least.
They confirmed they won't buff stats. Cosmetics + more drops are a very good way to do give an incentive to run these higher difficulties. A different appearance doesn't mean anything changes stat wise.
@@Neltherya are you trolling? ´they said they dont make loot in higher difficulty BETTER, but it will drop MORE loot. so a boss will drop 1-2 more items on higher difficulty. they never said they wont buff loot in the raids and there are some buffed items found already. many items have different names but same stats, even with the crafted items that will have better stats. the stat changes are just not implementet for most items, just the name. so when an item has a new name it will for sure get buffed or changed. this video here makes no sense, since last week we know what will be the difference in terms of loot in the higher difficulty. and its not the effect ot the weapons.
@@zepho100 i like it too that it looks better but it has nothing to do with the difficulty at all. it will be in easy, mid and hard all the same loot. just more loot the higher you go, thats all that changes in the difficulty you pick. my point is just that the stats will change when the name changed and that it has nothing to do with the difficulty thats all. this video is spreading missinformation there are no other items that drop in harder modes.
@@Tiemooo59 We can also remain calm and have a proper discussion without getting triggered. They won't buff stats in higher difficulties and every difficulty will drop items with the same stats was what i implied earlier. We seem to agree on that. However, nothing has been said about appearances. The way the game is coded, if they want to add a different glow, they have to make a new weapon with a different item ID, which we can see in this video ; * Vanilla version (Vanilla Glow) : Item=18805 * Buffed SoD version (Vanilla Glow) : Item=228277 * Buffed SoD - Molten version (New Glow) : Item=228701 Both SoD weapons have the same stats, wich are already buffed compared to the Vanilla version, only difference between both SoD weapons is the glow. We're speculating that one could be put in normal MC and the other could be put in Heat level 1 and 2. The stats for both weapons might change, though unlikely this close to release but it's not relevant to the discussion as we know that every difficulty level will drop items with the same stats. What we don't know is where (or if) the Molten version will drop. Since there are 2 SoD daggers in the database with the new buffed SoD stats, it makes sense to speculate that the Molten version with a cooler glow might come from higher heat levels. Or that it may drop more often in higher heat levels. It make senses from a game design perspective to give an extra incentive for people to run higher difficulties (especially when loot has the same stats) in the form of cooler looking items. It also makes sense from a RP perspective that increasing "Heat levels" would transform normal items into their Molten equivalent. Yes, it is speculation but the data hints at this being a very real possibility, especially when we have 2 SoD versions for nearly all the weapons in Molten Core. No other item slot has a Molten version, so it's unlikely that only Molten items will drop in every MC raid difficulties - especially this close to release. It would be a different discussion if there was more time before release but at the end of the day it's just speculation and we'll see once we set foot in MC.
Awesome change. I'm all for a visual change for higher difficulties.
thank god they didn't just make it like retail and increase the stats, this is such a better direction!
Dude you sound like a goon. Why you talking about retail lol. You vannila fan girls are cringe.
I also play retail and I agree with this.
They should’ve increased stats for harder modes not drop more gear
That just complicates balancing the other phases. Bad take lmao

Is there a molten version of the legendary weapons?
Damn i actually wasent expecting to learn this from this video
personally prefer harder modes having better stats but item effects are also nice.
I love this!
good change
Obviously all the gear is res to the raid leader
I didnt care about harder difficulties...until now
kek they just made the color mor brighter so riddicoulus and you go crazy about it

i think that is a good incentive to run higher difficulties, people do everything to show off (me included :D), thats the right way to flex
All this they said in an interview. Goes to show this streamer doesn’t pay attention..

That's what you'd expect though, if it's harder people generally don't wanna take some chumps into their raids do they

I mean, didn't we already have Retail for that?
you gotta be a real goofball to re-enchant your gear for a cosmetic change
It's not an enchant. The "molten" level is actually just the gear that drops inside the harder difficulty levels of Molten Core. It's purely cosmetic.
@hammerdancegaming
I mean you get base. You enchant your gear. Then you get molten. Now you have to reenchant the molten copy to use it.
what??? they said harder difficulty will drop MORE loot not better. so this is obvious just updated version that might also get buffed stat wise.
