This is going to be horrible for both families because I honestly believe this senior gentleman had ZERO idea that he’d hit anything let alone this beautiful young lady. I can only imagine how devastated he must be and how he’d love nothing more than to go to her family to offer his sorrow for their loss yet lawyers won’t allow. What a bad situation for all. Rip beautiful ballerina! Bless her and her family.

Well it's time for Key Biscayne, Florida to pass a law against wake boarding and arrest anyone under 21 for doing so... OR make it mandatory for people over 65 take safety and visual tests for operating ANY boat, car or plane...

Imo it's involuntary manslaughter at least - while due to his age there might be possible visual/mental limitations it still makes him liable for willfully operating a boat/vehicle when he knowingly was unable to do so safely, smh. This happens many times when geriatric drivers with diminished capacity refuse to stop driving until they eventually kill someone or themselves.
It's highly improbable that you could hit a person with enough force to kill them and not know that you just hit something, seriously.
Do we know 100% this is the boat that killed the young lady? If so, how do we know?
