I enjoyed seeing you mix your colors. I just looked over photos of golden leaves from this morning and discovered that the photos without the sun's intense rays of lavender where it neutralized the yellow-gold were prettier. The freshness of your tree was delightful. Thank you!
Ooh, the scrunch ball was a fun little surprise! What I really took away from this was how you pick out colors to blend as you go - I'm still getting used to actually picking and mixing colors and often times I feel pretty lost about what direction to go, so it's helpful to see someone who has a more practiced and intuitive understanding of color and who knows exactly what he needs to mix to match the image in mind.
The technique you used for painting the leaves was so unique! Tricks like that always make me feel like painting isn’t always as difficult as it seems ☺️ thank you for sharing!

You have a pleasant and clear teaching method, Mr. Shibasaki. I got disheartened about watercolor after taking courses led by a teacher who seemed more interested in telling us how good his pieces were than how to do any of his techniques. I haven't painted in several years, but I think, after I watch a couple more videos, I'm going to dig my paint box out and give it a go. Keep up the good work!
