@xSylviaMoonx I'm french and I think "apples" is funnier than "pommes", Nathan's voice cracks me up when he says it. I hate dubbed versions, they're never as good as the original.

d'accord avec toi , la version française ne pourra jamais remplacer la VO , comme toute autre langue d'ailleurs , mais dire que c'est une catastrophe c'est un poil éxagérer , il ce débrouille pas trop mal .
faudrait allez voir les doublages italien , éspagnole , pour ce dire que l'ont est pas trop mal lotie !!!

lightsabermario The translation is even worse in Hungarian version. For example in 4x01 when the doctor is looking for Beckett's dad he's saying Mr.Castle... it's so damn annoying

Well not all of us (I hate it !) but i guess it's a habit here. It's almost automatical : everything on TV and in cinemas, or almost, is dubbed in French. I'm not actually sure who enjoys dubbings. French people are definitely not great at English and I assume that people don't want to be reading subtitles so perhaps that's the explanation. But it's a vicious circle because by dubbing everything we're not very exposed to English and it makes it hard to improve.
