Jis lock ko tie belt mara hai wo lock wapis nhi ara khrab ho chuka hai... 2nd option will be you put new lock chain set

I didn't understand the video because I'm not Indian however I have the same issue and I cut off that white piece but now it only locks when the door is open and doesn't lock when door is closed what could be the problem?

You don't need to cut off the white part. You just need to tie it in corner or side as shown in the video.
