He’s in my Top 3 producers man... He has such a refined and unique production style that I usually can just tell it’s an alchemist beat before I check the credits lol

Kool Keith may drop a lot of subpar albums these days, but imo he’s the GOAT emcee ! He can literally rap about anything and he’s never scared to drop real freestyles (no writtens) at any time. I remember me and the guys BUMPING ALC's 1st Infantry debut album up and down the block here in the city of Chicago in 2004. And before the debut, I was already heavy into him. It's been a blessing to see this brother grow throughout the years - and youtube made it possible every step of the way.
Great doc here, ALC is one of my biggest influences and it's so great to hear about his journey as a producer, his sonic trademarks and cultivating his legendary catalog. Uncle Al is the GOAT imo
Thank you for this. I've been following alc for quite a while and his work is amazing. Thank you for this. Hope more people will get into alcs music. He deserves waaaaay more attention. Truly a Legend with so much love for the craft. Alc inspires me to be a better producer.

Very good research job! I only think that you could had dedicated more attention to the Roussian Roulette album and how it have changed the production style of Alchemist after that.
great video! I have one criticism though; I think it's best if you display an image of the album / record you're talking about as opposed to another, or even play a segment of the track (though perhaps copyright limitations impede this). Personally, I like to go listen to the tracks or parts of the albums when watching a video like this if they're not included and it's easier if the image and commentary match up. Wasn't a problem all the time, just my thoughts :)
Definitely, these are all points i've been thinking about for ages. Please do stay tuned for the latest episode that will release this week, it'll be great to get your critique on that one too.
