- Obwohl sie noch relativ neu in der Szene ist, hat die belgische DJ und Produzentin bereits ihr großartiges Talent im Studio und an den Decks unter Beweis gestellt. Während sie einen ganz eigenen Stil von kompromisslosem und eigenwilligem Techno vertritt, bleibt sie sich in Karriereangelegenheiten immer treu.
Auf der Bühne verzaubert Charlotte de Witte die Techno-Fans mit ihrer natürlichen Einfachheit und Kompetenz und lässt es dabei ganz leicht aussehen, die größten Bühnen der Welt zu bespielen. Ihre eigenen Produktionen haben sich als intensiv, süchtig machend und extrem beeindruckend erwiesen. Zustimmung erfährt sie dabei nicht nur von ihren Zuhörern, sondern auch von maßgeblichen Meinungen der Szene wie Resident Advisor und dem Mixmag Magazin. Die Zukunft für Charlotte de Witte sieht extrem vielversprechend aus.

Relativement nouvelle dans le milieu, la DJ et productrice belge a déjà su démontrer son talent en studio et aux platines. Charlotte de Witte a développé une techno intransigeante très singulière et reste toujours fidèle à elle-même dans ses choix de carrière.
Sur scène, elle enchante les fans par sa simplicité naturelle et son savoir-faire. A croire qu’électriser les plus grandes scènes du monde est un jeu d’enfant ! We drove 7 hours me and 2 of my best friends to go there, raved 12 hours, we meet a lot of new friends... and drove other 7 hours to go back home!

Ok so she's not the greatest DJ ever from a mixing talent point of view, but in a sea of fashionistas pouting and 'bouncing' their way through rubbish sets for an Instagram post, Charlotte is refreshingly honest and shows genuine passion for her music. She's authentic and delivers a certain drive, I can see her developing and evolving into a very good DJ for years to come.
And she's cool as ice to boot.
Yeah, I think she's a good producer and already has a label of her own. That being said, let's be honest, she clearly has some marketing skills as well(whether hers of her management agency) because in terms of real djing, she's in a place way overreted for her, at least by now. In the future she might become a very technical girl, but you really think she deserves to be sharing mainfloor in Time Warp with names like Chris Liebing, Carl Cox or even Recondite(who did an exquisite job opening the floor).

The start was so dark and amazing but the way it went into an acid beat was a disappointment it was not a good song choice as could have been so much better

@@ralfeisenberger2906 was mir fehlt, und zwar bei einem überwiegenden grossteil der zur zeit gehypten dj's, ist der technische anspruch und energie.wo sind die leute, die den arsch in der hose haben, zu cutten, scratchen, wildpitch auszuleben, mal ein risiko einzugehen, bassdrum's gegeneinander zu versetzen, wirklich mit dem sound zu arbeiten, evt. auch mal die audience zu verstören, schräge sachen zu spielen, auf 30 jahre technogeschichte zurückzugreifen... und nicht nur auf relativ sicher die files ineinander zu schieben? am besten tatsächlich noch mit vinyl, wo wirklich handwerkliches können gefragt ist und auch mal - das gehört dazu - im eifer des gefechts was schiefgehen kann, wenn die nadel springt?
und ja - ich praktiziere das im clubkontext genau so, mit eben jenem anspruch an mich selbst, sowohl technisch als auch musikalisch, und nehme mir deshalb auch heraus, genau das auch woanders einzufordern. ich will überrascht und mitgenommen werden und das hat seit vielen jahren kaum jemand mehr geschafft.
