Dynamic and fun to watch! Justin, you are a fantastic presenter, effortlessly balancing quirky humor and factual content. With a quality visual style and amusing delivery, this series appeals to everyone from the advanced tech-smart looking for comprehensive information to the tech-phobic wanting an accessible introductory overview. Certainly worthy of 5 stars!
Loving these tech videos! We just installed a bunch of Hue lights now that we have a new baby-it makes ALL the difference when getting her ready for bed thanks to the red lights and being able to dim the lights before we even get into the room. Between those and the Sonos speakers which are great for both music AND for brown noise we are really loving the home automation to make this growing family a little easier. Love learning about all the other options we have. Keep the great content coming!!!
Yay! So glad you enjoyed the episode. Sounds like you're using your smart home tech in some innovative and helpful ways. Sounds like something I should make a video on.... Thanks for watching :)
Justin_tech yes!! If there is one thing new parents talk about ALL the time it’s how to get babies to sleep better and lights, white noise, blackout shades are always something that come up so automating them as a “baby bedtime” setting makes things that much easier.
Very cool video I like the Brilliant switch and Action Tiles. Question, I like all the visual tech, but isn't the future of Smart Home in voice? I guess it's your preference I have 8 Google Minis around the house that get my commands done. Thoughts?
Actually, the future is brainwaves! Voice is great and all, but when you're watching a movie or have friends over, you don't want to stop everything to talk to your voice assistant. It's nice to have visual panels so you can quickly activate and not worry about a voice assistant misunderstanding you or interrupting people talking.
Wow, nice video. I'm a samsung fan so I loved that u showed a lot of things that are compatible with smart things, keep up this good habit! In my opinion u are the best TH-camr in smart home category.
Absolutely loving this series so far! I finally joined the amazing world of Hue this week (some of it thanks to you and your previous vids!) and I have the Hue sound bars arriving tomorrow for my gaming 😁 Episode 2 was some great timing as I’m getting to grips with zones and scenes in the Hue app, Home app and my Alexa. It’s so great to be educated by you on the all features and how all these things work together, and I’m definitely looking into smart home security next! Great work Justin, love your videos and this series 👍🏻✨
Wow, thank you so much! This comment has made my day :) I’m glad to know it’s helping you out and I’m excited for you to these next few episodes. They will shpw off some cool features with your Alexa, Philips hue and beyond! Would appreciate you using links I place in the description when possible 🤓 it helps support the channel! 😊
Justin_tech Thank you for the reply! ☺️ Definitely, more than happy to! If I purchase something from one of your links, will it still help you even though I’m in the UK?
Nice video, Why don't you use smart films for the windows instead of smart blinds or curtains?, the smart films look a lot more cool and they even save a bit of space

Is there an other way to work with action tile? Like Google home instead of smart things? I live in Belgium and I can't find a smartthings hub here so I look for everything to work with Google home.
@@Justin_tech if I would like to have Echo plus as my hub or and Harmony is there some interface for tablet which would just do simmilar as actiontiles for smartthings? I just think if smarthings is my only option to make my home smart, for now I have Ring, music, lights, switches, smart plugs, sensors and cameras, only thing what I have under Harmony is in one room old home theater system with TV, for that i dont need command center but for the rest I am looking for some good solution
You’ll need smartthings or another system like home assistant. This series helps with SmartThings. I plan to expand in the future. You could use HomeKit if you’re an Apple user for a nice display of controls. Or an Echo Show which I show in action next episode. I like action tiles the most for a command center though and will be making more videos on it soon.
@@Justin_tech I have echo show, and it is cool but I don't have like 'instant access' to everything I have to scroll long time to get ehat i want and if you want some specific light ot turn on it can take ages, this actiontiles looks perfect but it is only for smarthings😔, thanks for answering anyway, your videos helps to arrange and you are showing many good ideas😉

Excited for an Action Tiles episode!

Wow that’s awesome. All we’re missing is the baby in this smart home! Lol
This series is so underappreciated!!!!
Aww that’s great to hear. Yea I would love to get this in front of more eyes!
"Toby, Open that Door!" I thought Toby was a new assistant I could download for a quick second, haha.
😂😂😂
Me too 😂
So much love for the TUSH Series.
Another impressive job! A lot of great info
thank you!!!
Lol, uses foot to turn off Alexa. Incredible episode. Didn't know about ActionTIles. Gonna have to try this out.
It's great. Going to do a more in-depth vid on it!
Create virtual switches in SmartThings which will allow you to control multiple lights with one switch

Aw thank you!
Late, but another great episode!
thanks. can you use smart things alone instead of alexa with Action tiles
I used the Trendsetter smartapp to create groups of lights as needed. They show up as single virtual switches.
Going to look into Trendsetter. Thanks!!

Looked them up and they seem awesome, but SO EXPENSIVE!!!!
Does Alexa guard work with Blink?
It is good to watch your video.haha~
Also, amazon fire tablet as echo show? Nice video

I live in Belgium and I can't find a smartthings hub here so I look for everything to work with Google home.
Good advice regarding naming conventions!
Glad I could help. I wish we had this advice before we started!
I have automated my home on Actiontiles but find a lot of missing integration for key solutions.
Connection from SmartThings to Alexa also has to be disabled and reenabled frequently.
Is there some other thing like actiontiles but not strictly made for smartthings?
What system would you like it to run on? ActionTiles and others all need a main hub/system to activate the commands.

Wyze cams?
I wish Smartthings worked with Eufy......
BUT IT MUST BE CUTE!!!! ❤️🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Was it so hard to mute the word “Alexa” when you edited this video ??????? 😡
Learned from this and muted the rest of the episodes and all my future vids too.
Why not just say something other than Alexa ...daaaa.
