This month, the christmas boots (from thaumic boots) give a 25% vis discount, when combined with the shadowmetal goggles and void robes (total 45% discount from gear), a shadow imbued cloth cap (15% discount) scepter (10%) add up to 70& discount. At HV you can put these caps in a transmutative wand core which gives access to 373 vis crafts. You can take it further an craft a void wand core (I think the only warping research here is some of the shadowmetal stuff) and make a new scepter with 240 vis capacity; with a 70% discount, that is 800 total vis! which pretty much unlocks any vis craft. You can also make crimson stained cloth caps (20% discount) at HV, but they are mighty expensive and its a bit warping, but that enables 960 vis crafts without enhancing your wand at HV which I think is pretty cool. Also, upgradint your nano boots of the traveler to nano boots of the voidwalker is super easy and they boost the discount to 9%.
i know you're jaded with thaumcraft, but the bees would like to inform you that you can slap a world accellerator on both the node and the arcane assembler to make it go alot faster. Prob will never see the need for it tho. Also ross is a good source of botania flowers for when you start doing it. Also bartworks ores contains a bunch of different resources, one of them will just flat out give you rhodium and ruthenium with no platline. You do need to be in ZPM age to access these ores.
Awesome video, I learned a ton "accidentally" - reason being I came here to look at the Asteroid mining, as the video title suggests, however this is just 30 seconds at the very end of the video... As someone that also made minecraft videos back in the day, naming videos is _hard_ because you invariably set out to do one thing, end up filming 30 mins of a completely different thing, but then you still name the video after the original thing you set out to do. My only advice would be to take a critical look at what the video actually ends up being about, and name it that way instead. You have a nice style, nice quick edits and not too much "fluff", definitely packed with very useful info - just the contents of the video dont really line up with the title or description ;-)
Dear employee, Indeed! Sometimes I decide to name the episode after what I think is the most interesting thing in the video rather than what happens the most. I totally get that can be kind of misleading though. It is often a hard choice. Best, HamCorp Marketing Division
@@Ham-Corp Yeah definitely - I look back at my old GTNH series titles and think "wtf this makes no sense" - I guess it must have at the time! Either way, you've definitely inspired me to revisit my neglected Thaumcraft 🙂 - I hit that silly 75 to 100 vis capacity roadblock and then didn't really go back to it - had just enough to make ender tanks etc... But should definitely be doing the AE integration and more node manipulation to help get over the hump. As you say, its really not obvious what combination of wands/scepters need to be made to progress.. 😕
When you do eventually decide to go back to thaumcraft at a later date, you can make a MASSIVE energized node from a hungry node. Basically you feed a hungry node with way too many items, (such as crafting tables) turn it tainted, purify it, and then energize it. It'll become extremely useful

I almost went ham on my homework but then this video dropped
Adding this to the backlog of unwatched training videos.

6:20 feels like thats the first time ive heard you swear, caught me by surprise
Amazing training manual sir,
I would like to check all of the options on the self report

Bees are easier and more effective, no need to deal with hungry nodes
C for sure
Why don't you use compressed chests? They retain their contents after you break them.
YAAY I'm caught up :D
Think the intern transferred. Pretty sure I saw him at the Pond St. store making pizzas.
i think that extra slot in the arcane assembler is for a wand?
Write me down for hard while working!
