Gen 0 and 1st Gen did stuff together back when hololive was still very small. Back then, there was no one month ban for newly debuted members to collaborate with members outside of their own generation. That rule was put in place after 2nd Gen, which is partly why we see that 3rd Gen members and onwards have very apparent unity with their genmates. They are encouraged to bond with fellow genmates first and try to stand on their own two feet. Instead, they did things together as a whole agency. It is very unfortunate that we may no longer able to watch privated collabs, but you can bet that they're close with each other. Matsuri is *very* close to Haato-chan. They had lots of off-screen interactions together back when they were still starting. If I remember correctly, Haato-chan was the one who picked Matsuri's iconic BGM, for an example. Matsuri and Aki, too, has shown to be quite cordial with each other. That much is obvious, befitting of her nature as ardent supporter for hololive. Naturally, she gets on with her fellow genmates to an extent that we aren't shown on-stream. Heck, she wasn't even part of 1st Gen until Cover decided so. tl;dr: They *seem* aloof, but most of them are actually close with each other off-stream. Their interactions are more spread out with members from other generations.
