Really grateful that “idols” can talk like this now. Truly. I always wonder how much they struggle. Isolated, over worked, having to be a persona instead of themselves all the time, everything they say has to be approved by the company, etc. The fact that people like Jackson said “No. We are breaking the mold now. No more suffering silently.” Will be a blessing for all idols to come. I hope fans keep encouraging their biases and stans to be open like this. It’s beautiful. Thanks for sharing, Jackson. It needs to stop. I don't care if people consider it culture. It isn't culture to force people to be unauthentic. It's a money making scheme.
I hope Jackson will someday find a good balance between knowing there is always room to grow and for becoming better than before and being proud of his achievements and satisfied with them as a picture of the moment. He is such an amazing performer and artist and I am so grateful that he so honest about his mental health and how it is affected by his profession. He doesn't glamourise the artists life and that is one of the things I like about him so much. This album is going to be spectactular and everything he released of it so far was absolutely stunning! I truly wish him all the best for his career and nothing but happiness!
Yes Jackson Wang is Jackson Wang, he could be kpop, but he is also Cpop, and also an international star, and a rock star. He is paving his own path. A new one that nobody else has explored as a solo Asian artist.
Jackson is a great performer, but above all else he is a great son. He's always talking about his mom in almost every interview just a beautiful relationship between mother and son.
He started in kpop but has morphed so much beyond that. Hope one day he can be known as the Jackson Wang that needs no introduction.

I have been a fan of Jackson since 2014 and was able to meet him in New York recently. I told him I have been a supporter for years now and he replied, "Thank you so much" and even accepted a hug. Jackson is one of the most hard-working people I've ever seen in my life. His passion to accomplish everything he wants in life is admirable. He's humble, genuine and kind hearted. I hope he accomplishes all of his goals because he truly deserves all of the accolades and praise.
