It’s the worst feeling to be surrounded with people and be totally alone. It’s hard to be something for everyone else and have nothing coming back to you. I feel his emotions. I’m impressed with his honesty.

@@sandygonsalves4646 i understand that. But there’s a difference in nobody wanting to know you or care and people out there truly interested in getting to know you. I know it’s difficult for all of them. I can’t imagine the logistics but they need to figure it out because they all need to have close friends and someone to love and love them back. But you have to open yourself up first or it won’t happen.

I love how Jackson says celebrities are overrated it's just a job like being a doctor or lawyer or better yet a Starbucks employee. He's so humble too. And the way he described his depression is very relatable.
No matter who you stan, you can’t help but love Jackson. He was always the social butterfly that loves everyone. It’s so sad to learn how lonely he has been but also so beautiful how real and raw he is. I really wish he finds the happiness he needs and the connection with someone who he can lean on.
I know, I relate to him so much
He has been so open and transparent with us this year and shown so much of himself that we didn't know about.
Hope he can find his one person soon and find his happiness.

This has been one of the best interviews that Jackson Wang has given. The depth of his words, emotions and gestures has been so open that he has taken a great emotional weight off himself. Behind all this there is a human being eager for love and company.
I could not stop crying when he started talking about being lonely. Ever since I knew who Jackson was, he has always been my ideal husband. His spirit is just unexplainable and I've always felt an emotional attachment to his character. He could not have described that feeling of being lonely any better. If my feelings are correct, he is missing the part of himself that wants his own person to love, his other half, he wants to have a love of his own family and is missing out on that part of his life. He has the money and has the fame, but it will never amount to having pure love with another person that he can share these moments with. This was a very amazing interview. I hope Jackson receives everything he desires for his life ❤️❤️❤️

It's unfortunate that because he's an idol- there are limited people who have access to him. There are so many people out here that would love to be his friend or more, but will never get the opportunity to connect beyond showing up and supporting him as an artist. I hope he finds someone soon. That soul connection he wants -means it's also needed.
Although a lot of fans would love to be there for him and be his friend... But no matter how much you love someone, if they're not in the industry they can't be there for you.
I work in the entertainment industry, but in film, and it's a very lonely job. I've become very distant from friends, i know they love me and care about me, but they don't understand what being in the industry and what that job means...

This is one of the realest and genuine interview that I've seen of him. The things he talked about, it's somehow relatable to me as well. Even with people who loves you, surrounding you, there's some loneliness that can't be explained and yet he explained it so well. It's good to see him open up about it, even if it's difficult for most of us to even admit it in our daily lives.

While I’m sure your experience is compounded by fame and a constant travel schedule, the experience of loneliness and depression is pretty universal (especially during the pandemic). The last few years were the hardest of my life. I felt like I lost sight of my identity and what I love about myself. Even now with the world reopened, even though I am surrounded by many wonderful friends and family, I still struggle with loneliness. Seeing you talk publicly about these feelings is a helpful reminder that I am not the only one struggling, and that I shouldn’t be too hard on myself for being depressed despite outward markers of success. I hope you take care of yourself and find happiness and meaningful connections. 🙏❤

I honestly think the only reason it could be hard to date Jackson is just because most people seem to want to be attached at the hip with the person they’re dating. That’s always sounded claustrophobic to me but whatever 😂
He’s in so many places all the time and works so hard (and therefore probably only meets the same types of people) that he and whomever he’s “talking to” wouldn’t have the time to connect, like he said.
Then even if they did, he’s still all over the place. Thanks to video calls and stuff it would be much easier than before, but still.
And if he dated a “regular person”, that could be another set of issues.
I just want him to be happy cause he deserves that and like he said, when he does meet that someone if they also have the “family first” mentality, it will work out 💚

It makes me so sad to hear how he feels lonely, and it's so relatable. We all experience hardships as we get older but I believe he will overcome his struggle because he is acknowledging them. He is such a great, caring man and he deserves the absolute world. I hope he finds that something that can feed his soul and pour love into him. Love you Jackson.

This hassss to be my favorite interview of Jacksons so far!! Loved how comfortable, deep and open their conversation was, it didnt even feel like an interview just straight up 2 friends catching up with one another. I absolutely adore and admire Jackson more and more. And seeing him evolve and showing more of who he truly is, I hope hell one day be really proud of himself too like we are of him
