these aren’t terrible but they are slower than just standard A perm done well. Personally I believe it’s worth it to master standard A perm and do it in 0.5 seconds or less as it’s a fairly common PLL
You're right standard A perm is definitely faster if mastered, although I think a case could be made for pre-AUF + rotation balancing out with the extra moves of the mega comms. Anyway I used the standard A perm for 8 years and somehow still didn't master it lol so that's on me. I wouldn't recommend these algs to someone new learning cfop i only recommend them to people who aren't fans of the standard a perm and want to try something different
I do the standard A-perm alg, but I mirror it vertically for an "upside down" Aa-perm, and mirror it horizontally for the Ab-perm. And then horizontally and vertically for upside down Ab-perm. I do this for all OLL and PLL cases that have mirrored cases. I'm assuming most Cubers can do this, but I just mirror the alg in my head.
For Ab perm I just put the block in the front right (headlights on the left) and do a T perm with wide R moves. It is more moves but I find it more consistent as I also mess up the D2 a lot on the normal alg. You can also either do the left hand version with headlights on the right or the inverse wide T perm with headlights on the left for Aa perm

I think these are only worth it for U2 AUF, and even then it's a little dicey. I know Tymon is famous for it and Feliks has started doing it too. If you can't do pinky-ring D2 (I'm not even close to being able to do it), grip the E slice with your thumb and index finger instead and use ring-middle, doing U' with the right thumb or index finger push. It's Matty Hiroto Inaba and Lucas Etter certified, and it's surprisingly easy. My turning accuracy is generally horrendous and I was able to get it to .7 with minimal practice.
i can't do the D2 flick either so I literally just do the left verison since it's easier to do D2 with my right hand, but im going to practice this and see if i like it!
@@GokuDoku4a B2 flick is also difficult, but if u tried doing it with no rotation, instead of the alg being RUD moves (LUD moves for me since i used the lefty one) it would RFB moves which makes for a much difficult alg

it was 3 style on bld. it can help with regrip but pll was the last part so that not a really good reason to change

i use standard but on occasion this feels more natural just depending on the case and pre auf and all I might do it

I just do t perm with wide R/L moves but I wanna try this to see if I can get fast with it
