Bugs Bunny's cameo in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Rabbit Rampage, Rebel Rabbit, High Diving Hare, The Bugs Bunny Show, The Looney Looney Bugs Bunny Movie, etc. 🎥🎥🎥🎥🎥📺
These moments may be proof that Bugs has gone overboard at times. But I love how they are also proof that out all the rabbits in the world, Bugs Bunny is one rabbit that you absolutely do not want to mess with.
Yeah but the best thing he has ever done as he sails through the air after being struck by a bull, is to turn to the camera and say, ‘You realise of course that this means war’.
This is why I love Bugs. He is such an ass and screws with people and enemies but more often than not it's all in a vigilant, revengeful sort of way. I don't see that in a lot of cartoons now and days so it's always so refreshing to see a main lead be so despicable and hilarious all at the same time.
He's probably been around the block longer than we can think. It isn't overnight that you get this deprived from BS. Squidward is almost there, just wait.
I mean, what about the concert performance? He took a call in the middle of his performance, tried to kill a mouse who just wanted to perform with him, and straight up shot a guy in the audience for coughing. Or when he stole the ride from the cast-aways. Yea, they washed up on the island and were trying to eat him because they were starving. But Bugs already seemed to be living comfortably on the island already. If anything, he could have helped them get a ride off the island and go back to living peacefully. But instead, he took the ride for himself and left the two to die on the island.
I agree with you, they should say 10- or 20-times bugs bunny defended himself not the worst things that he done, besides its kind of like a satisfying, or a revenge.
When I was little, in the 1960s, my grandfather would wake me early on Saturday mornings to watch Bugs Bunny/ Roadrunner cartoons with him because he didn't want anyone knowing that he liked cartoons. We used to laugh until we choked! Ahhh, good times!
He probably went to see cartoons in theaters when they were new! Sounds like a great guy and great times! Nothing's shameful about being a fully grown person watching the best cartoons!
1946’s _Tom and Jerry_ episode “The Cat Concerto” may have been more humorous in its use of “Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2,” which was the piece Bugs also played, but Bugs was way more unprofessional in “Rhapsody Rabbit,” having shot that coughing guy to shut him up.
Let's not forget that there's a banned Bugs Bunny cartoon made a bit after the attack on Pearl Harbor that ends with Bugs handing out popsicles to Japanese soldiers that are actually grenades.
Talk about being nit-pickie. 🙄 Bugs philosophy is summed up by his expression, "Of course, you realize this means WAR!" If you wrong the rabbit, expect it back a thousand times worse.
@@JamesDavy2009 I remember that line from Barbary Coast Bunny after Nasty Canasta trapped him in a folding stand. Canasta lost so much money at his San Francisco casino after that.
Love your list... But as an avid stargazer, I have one nitpick to point out... ASTRONOMERS look at stars and planets, ASTROLOGERS look at zodiacs... A common mistake but one that has gotten SO common it's frustrating.
"No Parking Hare" had some good ones, revenge on a construction worker. Like, Bugs getting the construction guy to detour his saw that was cutting into Bug's home, and so the saw hit a high voltage wire. The construction worker turned into several different neon vignettes for a moment.
To be fair, Daffy brings it on himself as in those shorts he can't just stay out of the way and let Bugs deal with Elmer. Add to the fact it's actually Duck Season, and Daffy's trying to get Bugs shot doesn't help his case. A better example is in Hare Ribbin, where Bugs tricks a dog into committing suicide.
Here's a few. That time when Elmer let himself go and went camp and Bugs made his life miserable for no reason other than, just cause. Then there was his cameo in Who Framed Roger Rabbit where Eddie was falling from a skyscraper and was begging for help and Bugs game him a spare tire instead. Eddie could have been killed since he was not a toon.
Depends on the situation. You see, some of these Bugs is provoked. An example, A Case of the Missing Hare with the Magician putting self-promoting posters everywhere, including a tree where Bugs is living in that cartoon, then splatter a blackberry that he offered Bugs in Bugs' face. Then there are others cartoons where Bugs torments others for no apparent reason, like the 1941 Merrie Melodie cartoon: "Wabbit Twouble" with a fat Elmer Fudd.
That rabbit has been making people laugh for over 80 years. And still going strong. Maybe you should be facing Northbound Moose when you facing a Southbound moose!!!
Not sure of the short’s names but my favorite Bugs Bunny moments are a) when he pretends to be the Gorilla and the father knows his ruse and b) when he becomes “Leopold’ the conductor.
@@hhairball9 Up until now I didn't even know there was another Bugs Bunny cartoon besides Apes of Wrath where Bugs pretends to be a baby gorilla and torment the dad just for kicks. Though in Apes of Wrath it begins with Drunk Stork abducting Bugs and taking him to the gorilla couple when he loses the real baby gorilla.
The moment you realize as an adult, Bugs Bunny was a fudging MENACE!! Honestly nowadays, I can’t decide which is/was terrifying, Bugs Bunny then or Mickey Mouse TODAY! Mickey is one of the most (if not the most) powerful character in all of the media!

Has "The Long Haired Hare" been mentioned? (Spoiler alert:) True, all Giovanni Jones had to do was politely ask Bugs to take his self-entertainment somewhere else, but then there wouldn't be a story. Bugs brutally tortures Jones in revenge. In light of the mention of how Bugs tortures Elmer in most of their meetings, there are at least three shorts where Elmer defeats Bugs: Hare Brush, What's Opera, Doc?, and Rabbit Rampage.
One missed, from Buckaroo Bugs, robbing carrot gardens, making the hero jump the grand canyon, and robbing the Arizona Ranger red hot Ryder Stage door cartoon tricking elmer to stripping the southern sheriff
