- Restoration Cadillac 1940 classic car (model)
The classic car in the form of a model, it helps me remember the old memories, I changed the color for it, Hope you will like

This was the most painful die cast restoration I've ever watched. The gold paint pen damn near killed me!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Why don't you actually find something that genuinely needs restoration, instead of scratching or putting mud all over a perfectly OK item, NOT GOOD & the left back wheel does not even turn
I just checked these comments to see if anyone else noticed that it was a new item that was scuffed up. I have no interest in this sort of thing. I'm going to unsubscribe. Just to this note. The rusty toy items do Look like rust paint is sprayed on them.
Exactly what I thought. Glad I’m not alone. It is very obvious that this was staged.
that car is a classic guys greetings
OK - It's your car to do with as you will. There are always possibilities for trim and interior detail. Check some old photos and see what the prototype looked like. Cadillacs were the grand cars of their day.
I’m convinced Stevie wonder could have painted those gold lines better 😎 play our song sam, also I dry reached at the end when that hair was being dragged around 🤮🤮🤮
My eyes are crying for that gold color work...
Perfect!!👍
As an American I do see cars like the Cadillac on the road but the new older than that but not the classic times just cause from the 2000s
i think it looks good
A lovely little car 🚙
Absolutely a joke , what a F#?&ing joke, Are you kidding me?
All I see is negative comments can everyone just let this man be 🙄 constructive criticism is key and so is practise. Keep practising darl you’ll get there, who cares about the trolls behind their keyboards 😊
I dont understand,Why be so careless with the gold paint?
very bad looks gold detail, bad painting. You can't restoration
Wao ! Super work
It's not restoration !!!!
Here you can see that the dirt and paint damage was done specially for the video
After watching this video, I am guessing you received a lot of participation trophies in school.
No no no, that's not a restoration, that's a massacre! With that goldpen you ruined the hole project. Why not taking your time to do it slowley and correctly? Restoration means bring it back to the original as far as possible. Sorry, thats a lot but no good work.
I agree, the gold paint was not good. Suggest using decals or a finer tip paint pen going forward.
Qué pieza tan bonita cómo será restaurada
It was all going so well until he pulled out his gold pen 😂😂😂 the car looked better before lol !
scary work!!!!!
All that work and then a sharpie..
that car looks like altered on purpose with a screw driver...
for all the people who claimed to have found
the car model,
and after hearing everything and anything
but except the correct answer
I set out to find the real brand of the car.
So you can get an idea of the state of the toy before the big massacre (restoration)
because I also had a heartache when I attended this wonderful show.
I also leave you a valid link, in case ...
A child of 6 could do a better job. The only reason I watched it until the end was to see how it finished up. Never again.
Its all about having fun.
If you enjoy what you do then it doesn't matter how it looks.
Do your best
Hello người việt
You should have used a fine paint brush to apply the gold trim.
Excellent model. But why did not you keep original colors? Work with golden marker was terrrible!
Ruined another item. Left rear tyre on wrong way. Not a good video at all.
Do you do these video's to show how not to restore something ?.
Interesting
Seriously?, for Christ sake!!
If this is what you call a toy restoration i can only imagine what your house looks like
You should restore those rusty pliers
i know it looks bad but at least he tried,i would have painted it burgundy with chrome wheels with whitewalls and chrome bumpers grill and painted the interior to look like leather.
You know this is FAKE . How did this get so screwed up on the INSIDE?
I am sorry to say that it looks worse than when you started.
Gruselig

Basically agree with comments made by others. Shockingly poor workmanship on a good model which could be truly inspiring if properly done.
Look like it was Deliberately scratched up for this video. Looked better before you screwed it up.
When you pull it along at the end, i hear sad music.
Congratulations Big Mess
Go play with yourself.........
Hey At least the guy I think clipped his nails
I am sorry to say this ... This was not very enjoyable, the original shown looked deliberately scratched and destroyed. The end result was worse. All that said, a good attempt at a custom, because clearly, that is what you were going for here. Keep trying, only by doing will you learn and get experience. .
this is a 1930s cadillac,the 1940s cadillacs are a different shape,more streamlined,looked on google at old pictures
Oh my goodness! Going cheap on the body paint remover. Then sanding plastic parts. Lighter fluid or alcohol dude.
c'mon, you're trolling us, right?
Oh please......are you kidding ......a gold paint pen.... do me a favor.
Not to bad kid, But you might try a paint brush, it would mean removing some of the kilts and redoing it but then you can repaint the gold trim and things with out all the mess 😀😁😀😁 !!!!!!!
Since you sent a heart to my last comment I subcribed and turned on the bell
The guy hearts all of the comments, weather good or bad. I'm not sure how good his English is or if he evens reads the comments. Maybe he's just happy to receive comments.
What was there to restore? The first mistake was the year. It’s not 1940’s more like 1930’s manufactured collectible. Second was staging the destruction and lastly, that god awful paint and finish. What’d ya use, House paint?! Then you end it with a bad gold marker. You sir don’t know restoration
@Eugene Webber thanks for replying, and though it’s true, plastics weren’t available in the ‘30’s and 40’s, as a matter of fact plastic anything wasn’t available until the late 50’s and even then they weren’t available for such this model, as a matter of fact, this model car, alone, would’ve been decades ahead of its time, just for the plastic, in the 30’s, 40’s and even 50’s. This is a much later era, But, alas Eugene, that’s where are similarities/agreements part, this particular model was, at best manufactured in the late 90’s. Running my hunch through Google, it seems, this particular model was mass produced in 1997. Specially this maroon exaggerated gold trim, piece. Cross reference 1/18 scale 1930’s die cast Cadillac model with a 1989’s piece and the differences stand out. But, Eugene, your the man! For looking at the fraudulent piece this is. Double thumbs up, for you, my friend.
I just cannot stop laughing 😂
i just give 1 star ,i think you forgot ...after you use paint remove ..must use sand paper on body then primer...after primer put a some water on body then use sand paper again..it will be nice after you use sand paper spray primer
Good!
You gotta be shitting me?
Pimp My Ride 👍
Lisa Smith more like destroy my ride
This is what you get when a bored child gets into doing something they know nothing about.
Really? My 3 year old could have done better. Just wasted 10 minutes of my life I'll never get back.
I think this is ruined by the gold pen. I would be ashamed to say it was my work. All you other videos I've watched have been great.
Next time put the gold paint on with a shovel or garden trowel
Still can't figure out if this was a joke or not
Completely destroyed the image of the "classic car"
It is obvious that you had this apart already, I bet you scratched it up by yourself, just to make the video.
Fake. The wear was deep and not random enough to be real aging. It was scratched up on purpose to *make* a project. A complete waste of time.
This was not done by the same man....couldn't have been
And that ain't a Cadillac, is this an early April fool's joke gone horribly wrong?
What did I just watch? That had to have been the worst paint job I have ever seen.
Ei...
I like to see one with an electric ⚡️ motor or a remote control car 🚘
cadillac 1933
I thinks its not an old toy car, it seems that scratches inside out was done to make it look like old one...
But I really love vintage toy cars...
That is Awesome great job bro..but Fr Cadilac u should paint Black n Gold bro🤔🤣🤣
Great job mate it looks crap
I came to see a classic die cast Cadillac restored to it's former glory.
Wish I had actually seen that. 🙁😵
Yes, that was such a waste of new car.😭😱🤬
@@paulorth2251 - I made two snide comments here and he "loved" both of them. I think he enjoys being the "anti-hero" of restoration.
Maybe the title die cast should've given us the clue about a snuff film for a car, I hope Christine doesn't see and knowabout this😳
This car looked like it had been intentionally covered in mud. The scrapes outside & inside looked intentional. Anyway, it's a poor restoration. Paintwork & colour, just awful.
D jed that’s what I thought.Plus the gold colour looked new.A very fake video in my opinion.
I can only say “UGHHHHH”!
you doing well.i also like to do restoration work.how did you get experience doing like this.its very talented
So many issues with this "restoration". Maybe watch some other restoration videos before attempting to do another? Also, invest in some painter's tape if you're going to detail like that.
Really???..should have left this one alone@stop
@Restore And Restoration , you should of painted the running boards black. The gold interior is unrealistic. The toy manufacture choose the wrong color. I would have gone with a tan color.
Why this people has internet access???
He needs to give it up not good especially that gold detailing
Tôp
The original color was better!
Where did you get the model and what make is it? Franklin Mint or what please. Thanks and keep trying to get better. It will pay.
This must be a joke, right.
In other news, a chicken laid a gold egg.
I sure hope this was parody.
Should have not used the gold paint pen it ruined the car
absolutely PATHETIC it looks like a set up where the model was taken apart and scuffed up prior to this so called restoration i will be avoiding your videos from now on
I have to say I do not like is one. need to hand paint the gold
I think the worst restoration I've ever looked at and seen a lot on youtube, you beat everything, current, time, paint and so on ...
