When they told me I was gonna be on stream my heartrate skyrocketed up so it definitely got to me, I could not for the life of me stand up for the overhead XD. I also completely forgot about using Exceed Accel at the end there that I found out would've killed if I had remembered. But still had a blast, Blazblue is my favorite fighting game so getting the chance to play in tourney on stream no less was awesome.
you did what you could with all that you can. nothing but respect to you. I understand your nervousness but remember this is just a fun game and we will not bully you for it.

@@hollowheartbeat not at all, I'm just a super noob when it comes to blaz blue and kagura looks really cool, so to me everything looks impressive. But the fact that you were able to bring it back shows skill
Keep the downback pressed and learn some simple conversions from 2DA hitting raw. Our boy Kag has that good ol gorilla damage going for him, so it's important to make sure you convert as many hits into confirms. Especially considering how hard it can be to land those hits sometimes. 2A->2DA is unreactable on block and nobody can convince me otherwise. They either know or don't know. Also, be very careful with Drive usage on pressure. There's pretty much no way to make Drive safe on block. Especially if the opponent knows how the Drive works and is not afraid to call out 5DA for a fraud move that it is. You can through Drives in pressure in some matchups, like, 2DB->5DA, what's Tsubaki gonna do about it? But really carefully. Welcome to the Kagura Life, my man. Enjoy the stay.
Honestly when i saw Monarch in the bracket i already knew who was gonna win but prompts to Icecool too amazing grand final. Respect the patience from both of them.
I love that BlazBlue lore heads bother correcting anything because a big plot point is "there are literally infinite possibilities, anything can happen." Everything is lore accurate somewhere. That said, I'm glad we live in the timeline where BB had rollback and I get to watch some beautiful play. This was so much fun, thanks to all the players and organizers for giving it their all!
Was really tired by the end and it reflected in my play, but I still made Mu look cool which is always a great consolation prize. Mu deserves to be so much more popular than she is.
Yeah you def made her look good. Im honestly surprised you didnt anti-air a bit more with her against Susanoo. But nonetheless it was amazing watching her. She was my main in BBCSE. Might have to pick her up again!
@@Loli_Miku39 The further you get in a tourney and the better the players get the more your play generally suffers. The tension gets higher and your attention begins to drain away. You want to be creative and you're hype, but the effort required to keep adapting and processing new information and physically pilot your character piles up and up, especially on a character like Mu. I would say that explains the lack of Sus anti airing.
Damn, Paul Rudd having that Kokonoe when I always thought he'd be a Celica main for the wheelchair alone. This game owns. It's full of so much ridiculous commitment to get really good, but it's still insane all these years later.
As a Mu12 main I always find it funny the way people think of the character and how they think she is played. Everybody always talk about her zoning but she's actually just a neutral controlling character like Es or Jin. The zoning is secondary to her primary gameplan but people will try to not get zoned anyway and run into all the 2Bs and 5Cs.
That Mu-12 was amazing. I believe once he learns more optimize combos or how to combo off them weird stray hits he will go far.... And once he gets stronger knockdown/corner pressure i want to see how far he can go
For anyone watching who thinks Haz's chains are too strong imma tell you a secret: on block even at their ideal ranges have have almost no Blackstun. If Hazama just chains directly in on block he's anti air central. If he chains behind you he's beaten by mashing jab by every character in the game. This isn't downplaying, the character is monstrous, but if the Haz is beating you by simply chaining in then you haven't even reached the start line yet. As a Hazama player... make me work! The character takes a lot of energy to pilot when people know how to deal with his chains and even the best Haz players slow down when forced to fient chains dashes and speed up their neutral by good opponents, which takes away their best neutral options.
Idk ab the chains but ‘make me work’ never sat right with me like… come on now if you wanted to work you could not just chain people who didn’t get it this is a choice
2:48:55 I'm so sad the first time we see God Press on the tournament it gets smoked... Like I know it's bad but it's funny you can't help but want it to hit.
Question for any Nine players that could answer this, mostly out of curiosity: Can you do an actual unblockable (or at least, effectively unblockable like Zato's were in GGXX) by going for an overhead at basically the same time the seed hits low, or is that not possible? I've noticed you can do an overhead and a low in quick succession, but I can't tell if it's just hard to block but learnable or if you just can't. I've not played the Nine matchup I think ever so it's not like I'm being hit by this, but I'm still curious to know.
@@AgentBacalhau Pretty much. Between variable tech options, barrier block pushback, counter assault, guard cancel overdrive, and of course invincible reversals, there are many ways to escape a setup.

If we are talking lore wise only Mu can do any godslaying period so probably not. 🙃
