I just can't thank you enough for this video. I wish I could give it a million likes. It's definitely made getting into Central Fiction much easier. With the fanbase staying strong, I imagine this will continue to be invaluable over the years. Thanks again. You're wonderful. ^_^
One minor thing I noticed about Susano'o that was glossed over (which I completely understand, this is a massive guide!) is that during his Overdrive, he gains access to a third super. [2]8D leads to Collapsing Resentment, and will immediately unlock the rest of his locked seals at lv 1. In some matches if the Susano'o is starting to get behind after a bad start to a round and just can't get any seals unlocked, it may be worth spending 50 meter to unlock everything so he can access any previously locked tools such as his DP or Blade. Awesome guide, I learned quite a bit here about characters I've not played!
It's also funny and Cheeky when buffering it during OD, since the I frames from OD are abusable sometimes, that said, making sure to activate it frame one is also important if you're safe to do so, otherwise you'd have to force a Knockdown before using OD
Got into GBVSR few months back and now getting into BBCF, and you have been a huge help for both. Very convenient that those are the two games you have done this type of overview for. You've probably become one of my favorite FGC youtubers because of the above reasons, especially when it can be difficult to find other overviews/guides on these games, doubly so of this quality.
I do wish you used move names instead of just the notation every time, I like memorizing cool move names in fighters. But I guess it's more efficient this way, alas.... otherwise, thank you so much, great video.
Really helpful. Watched top 8 of Combo Breaker and got interested in this game again and wanted to look into it again and this is an amazingly helpful refresher AND breakdown.
I'm a super street fighter admirer since the early 90's, I truly believe their are no smoother fighting games that come closer to street fighter smoothness, honourable mentions that come seriously close are Granblue fantasy versus, Blazblue Central Fiction, The only 2D fighting game I rank above my beloved street fighter series, Blazblue Central Fiction is so dang excellent it hasn't got a next game in over how many years, I been telling tons of my homies about blazblue, Most of them can't stand anime games, let alone ever heard of kick ass games like Guilty Gear, Under Night in Birth, Blazblue series, Fist of the North star 2D great game by arc system works which is broken asf, But just a nerds dream if they loved the manga and animated movie . Ryu,Sagat, M.Bison and tons of other street fighters are just so epic. But for depth and complete drip Central Fiction takes the cake and wins in a landslide. I have this on my nintendo switch and ps4. I have my chin on the floor when I see the ultimate finisher which they got from Fist of The North Star game. Oh yeah almost forgot this sexy kick ass anime fighting game called Jojo Bizarre Adventure made by capcom back in the day. I highly recommend getting the dreamcast and ps2 versions. Or if ya'll have pc or steamdeck, on fightcade 2. This video is simply stunning. Much appreciated Moist Rock. I had to download this right quick, Because im a fighting game lover pause. It's videos like this which reminds me why I love fighting games. I have severe autism so I tend to drift off to where ever, So miss out on playing the games I love most of the time. So when I listen to and watch videos like this, It reminds me to remember to play.
This is such a good video. I just passed 100 hours in BB:CF and I still haven't played a lot of the cast. These are great for getting and idea what to do against them.
A good video for new players getting into the game that don't know what the character do. One thing that was mentioned was character difficulty, which is an interesting topic for me when it comes to fighting games. Personally, I think there's a HUGE difference between execution difficulty and overall character power. For example, most beginners in BB think Ragna is an easy mode character because his execution for the most part is easy, when that couldn't be further from the truth, since our spiky haired protagonist has very few safe and reliable mix-up options that make most offensive approaches that are INCREDIBLY EASY to read, and throwing out special moves like Hells Fang and ESPECIALLY Blood Schythe in neutral without purpose will get you murdered, since it's relatively easy to react to, and Ragna usually has to take risks to throw the opponent off for moderate reward. Now, that's not to say Ragna's a weak character, far from it in fact, since he can play neutral fairly well due to size of a lot of his normals. Additionally, he does decent damage, and has a fantastic DP. Though one of the most common things I see with many high level Ragna players is how they utilize his of 2a, since its ±0 frame advantage as well as the ability to cancel into a throw makes this a solid pressure tool when used correctly. It can also be used for many frame trap setups, one of the most common being 2A > 2C, leaving Ragna plus on block if he guessed wrong and allowing him to re-engage. Just be warned that the spiky haired protagonist is lacking things that other characters higher on the character power list share. In comparison, Izanami has some of the highest execution in the game, but she is also arguably the easiest character to win with, due to her having so many powerful tools: -Ability to change modes between rushdown and zoning allows for a VERSATILE playstyle. -Float ability provides near UNPARALLELED movement. -Thanks to ribcage having armor, and stopping pretty much all attacks, with the ONLY exceptions being throws, and bursts, it allowed for silly setups in the corner with insane mixups between her attacks and her float . Heck, this move alone can be argued to be just as silly as anything other top tier characters like Nine has in her tool kit. Again, Super armor for one of the most mobile characters in the game. What could be more reasonable than that, I ask you? Now that not to say that they aren't characters with easy execution, and high character power, Mai is an great example of this, I'm just saying we shouldn't assume that they have both based on one factor, execution tier list and and character power tier lists should always be separate. Again, a solid video for new players who aren't familiar with the game. Special shoutout for adding counter play as many overviews don't do that. Just thought I add my two cents is all.
thanks for the vid. was always more of a smash player, so sadly when i got into CS a little way back in 2012, i couldn't get any of my friends to play with me lol. getting back into it now with CF rollback and it feels so good. as a melee falcon main, you already know there's only one man for me. "to rid this world of evil..."
Probably one of the most detailed character overview videos I've seen. Honestly a crime that not many people have seen this
All this info is on dustloop.

GOD we need a new BlazBlue
I know this is Kate but thanks a lot 👍
Good video but I find it weird to put jubei at 3 with some of the weakest defense in the game paired with the lowest health
🎉
