I have searched to whole internet looking for a tutorial which explains things rather than just telling you what to type. The only tutorial that does that is this tutorial. I was about giving up my .NET career to pick a different technology until I found this video. Thank you so much for this ❤
I want to stay with you sir because you are using up-to-date technologies and you can explain them very well to us. You know how you can teach things to the beginners.I feel like get senior easily if i stay with you at my software journey. Please keep teaching things to us!
I am not yet done watching the whole video, but I am already mentioning you in my prayers, From what I've seen so far, This is *incredibly* well done Thank you
very very very helpfull, up to date and well explained tutorial. That u explain so much from scratch, I love it. It wasted so much time with outdated or/and superficial tutorials but finally i found this. thank u soo much
I don't normally comment on videos, but only 16min in and I already like it so much that I had to say so. Thank you so much for this video. It is concise and to the point, but extremely well described. I'm getting ready for interviews again and this is a big part of my prep. THANK YOU
Really detailed explanations. The explanation of why each piece of code is used is excellent. It's completely useful and a great explanation for those hearing it for the first time. Thank you.
I am your student and have purchased the inventory management system course, identity and your api course. It would be good if you did the inventory management course on the latest platform. I’m stuck at the edit part of inventory management and unable to move forward. Also learning web assembly seems to be more better at we can use the api on front ends built with different technologies instead of blazor server. Would you consider this.
Great Crouse. Only suggestion - I'd place 'add category' section before 'edit category' section and use 'edit category' as an assignment as it's more intuitive that way. But that's just me. Otherwise - thank you Frank for sharing your knowledge
I really like this video and your method of teaching is excellent. but in 1:10:10 The 'UpdateCategory' function is taking a copy of list using 'GetCatagoryById' which return an copy so the list '_catagory' wont change or is there something else?
Hi. I'm doing all step by step like in your video but i have no problems with value of categoryId in the Edit post action method. CategoryId value after pressing save button correspond to value in static "DB". Why is that?
Thanks for all this work Frank. Very useful for a beginner. Could I ask for any material that you paste to be placed in a pastebin or equivalent? Happy to type out the short snippets (as it helps to sink into the grey matter), but the css code header was pretty long and I couldn't find the example on the bootstrap page. keep up the great work :-)
While I am writing the layout for some reason only the render body is working if i add a navbar it isnt showing neither is the render section working the code still runs error free but doesnt display anything apart from body
If you use public IActionResult Delete(int categoryId), only 0 will be entered in categoryId. however If I do this public IActionResult Delete(int id), does it work normally? Why is this like this?
I was wondering why that wasn't working, but it looks like the change you suggested fixed the issue. Thank you! That is pretty weird that it is doing that.
Sir it is an awsm video but when I am practicing the same on my laptop the program.cs shows an error as soon as I add the controller in controller folder and that too at the first line of code in program.cs file can you please give me a solution for this.
at @1:10:17 you are using the "GetCategoriesById" function to get the categories to update , but the "GetCategoriesById" function is retuning a copy then how the actual data is getting updated
question why don t you use put attribut instead of post when you modify the category and the delete attribut instead of the get attribut on you methods ? Thank you
Please are you have a course for angular?? And please are you have a full course for every section in this course plesase help me your course hlepd me understand goof i need you
The tutorial is great for what it contains. However, the title is a bit misleading. I'm an older developer working on updating my skills to .NET 8. When the title mentioned Entity Framework, I was really excited. The tutorial does not touch on what most of us who worked with .NET 3 to .NET 6 recognize as Entity Framework (the connection between the code and the database). I'm guessing that it may be part of the class you offer with the subscription on your site. That is fine but it should not have been listed here as it is misleading. I won't consider the time I spent watching wasted as I learned quite a bit but I will say that I am disappointed.

Really great tutorial! One of the best I've run across in recent memory. Everything is very clear and well explained.

I am on 1:49:00 i think its not a complete course
Subscribed ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
thank you soo much
question
why don t you use put attribut instead of post when you modify the category and the delete attribut instead of the get attribut on you methods ?
Thank you
For update, it is better to use put or patch. For delete, I remember I used the delete verb.
The source file is only available in the complete course.
very good tutorial.
Hi Frank. Do you have the source code, like on github? Thx.
You have explained things so well. A question. Do you have this source code on git? I am also implementing things side by side so it would be hepful.
The source code is included in the paid course.
can you share the link to the paid course?

Please make a tutorial on asp.net 8 mvc print invoice. Thank you

Hey frank, just curious. Can’t we change the default identity URLs from Identity/Account/Login to just /Login?
Yes, you can. You can do it in the program.cs file.
@@FrankLiuSoftware okay, any links will be appreciated. You can show that too in your identity videos too
Just awesome

Hi frank how you doing we need new course in freamwork blazor new update
Working on it.
THANKS
hi Frank, i apreciate your effort but don't you think Blazor will replace MVC? Maybe a full Blazor course ? :)
I am working on updating my existing full blazor course. Stay tuned!
@@FrankLiuSoftware from what i'm seeing MVC and Blazor are very close related.
@@FrankLiuSoftware You mean the inventory management system? That will be awesome!
So it turns out with .Net it takes 3 hours to make sth I can make in express.js in 15 minutes . Nice
why do you keep talking about "Matter"?
Not sure what you are referring to.
@@FrankLiuSoftware me neither. From the context you must be talking about methods, but keep calling them matter.
He actually says method
not for beginners.
Completely for beginners, very clearly explained
Please make a tutorial on asp.net 8 mvc core Report print. Thank you
It is already part of the course.
