I totally agree with you ... the diversity is amazing. We were there last year in September for 5 nights and are heading back there again this year for another 5 nights on our way to somewhere else. The people , of all faiths and varieties are all so friendly , you wouldn't know you were living in a Trump world. ;-) My wife and I both agree that KL has become our fave Asian city , and that's a big call from us , we have seen 'em all. Would love to know where you stayed , seems a bit up market for us but may be ideal for one of our son's who is taking his 3 kids ( 13, 12 & 8) up thru there and then going overland up north then into southern Thailand.
That's what we're going to do next time. We usually use Bangkok as a stopover but I think it needs to be KL now. We stayed at Hotel Stripes, which is away from the hustle and bustle but only a 20-minute walk to Petronas Towers or Bukit Bintang. Still super central! That's awesome - your grandkids will love KL. We're actually in northern Thailand at the moment, also lovely for the kids. Thanks for watching!
You should try to visit the outskirts cities surrounding KL like Bangsar, Bangsar South, Shah Alam, Putra Jaya, Mutiara Damansara, Cyber Jaya, Sunway, Mount Kiara and many more. You'll be amazed how big KL is if you try to explore further than the city centre and you will meet with more locals. Just a tip to check IKEA locations in KL and the best is at Mutiara Damansara as the surrounding shops are well planned or developed, lots of locals hang out and you can reach there by MRT.
We aren't a family but just arrived in KL yesterday! We just hit the subscribe button! Hopefully we can mutually support - love the drone shots and transitions! That hotel was awesome too, the pool is amazing. Looking forward to trying all of the street food.
Cheers - love your work too. Just stalked your channel and subscribed. How did you guys go with flying the drone in all the SE Asian countries? Ours actually got confiscated in Vietnam.
You must go and explore other regions in KL/Klang Valley which are so stunning and amazing beside KLCC or BB areas..there at least 50 regions to see such as PJ, Damansara, Puchong, Selayang, Gombak, Kajang, Putrajaya, Ampang, Bukit Antarabangsa, Wangsamaju, Shah Alam, Bangi, Bandar Tasik Selatan, Sri Hartamas, Mount Kiara, Klang, Port Klang, Sri Kembangan, Bandar Utama, Kampung Baru, Kampung Pandan, Kenny Hills, Keramat, Segambut, USJ, Sunway, Bukit Jalil, Subang Jaya, TTDI, Lembah Pantai, Putra Height, Serdang, Rawang, Subang, Mutiara Damansara, Kota Damansara etc etc etc..which is so modern, uniques and the landscape is so beautiful due to Klang Valley is hill side areas..pls dont miss the opportunity and you will cry what are the diverse city and amazing people, culture and food

Hi Gina, from your comment, i guess you may be a muslim tourist. If you’re coming to malaysia to try all of our delicious food and you’re very strict on the halal rules on food , I suggest not to buy anything from jalan Alor cause 90% of the food there are non-halal since the seller there are mostly non muslim. For the alternative, you can try the night market in different places of kuala lumpur and klang valley especially Jalan TAR market (only on saturday). All of malay food in malaysia are halal, for indian food, you can go to mamak ( indian muslim restaurant), and for chinese food, I’m pretty sure there are a lot of vegetarian chinese restaurant and halal option from chinese muslims in malaysia. enjoy your trip in malaysia!
Malaysia is Truly Asia..That's why you see a lot of races in KL..Thank you for visiting Malaysia. Malaysia is cheap with 1st class accommodation for Tourists.
