When you try competing with motor boats on that, you will always lose. Motor yachts will always offer more guest room, more convenience, more hotel style per meter. How can we more emphasise the sheer beauty of sailing in promotions like this? How can we communicate the beauty of SAILING better to new clients in the charter market? Open to ideas.

The Perini Navi yachts have the most exquisite contemporary interiors, neither too bland and minimalistic nor too ornate and garish. I want a 70ft to 80ft go-anywhere in any-weather sailing yacht(ketch or schooner, not a sloop, and preferably with a centerboard) to bond with my children, with help from a crew of 2 or 3. I wouldn't want to be confined in anything smaller. To truly enjoy luxury, I would be open to a 90 to a 120ft sailing yacht(with a spacious, contemporary interior filled with natural light and an on deck bar and a jacuzzi plus a bar in the saloon) or a 180ft to 224ft motor yacht (with a hangar for a helicopter and a small submarine, like the Alucia/Odyssey). I don't care how large it is, provided it isn't a white elephant and can generate a charter revenue to at least pay for its upkeep. Even if the Alucia posts a loss, it couldn't render me insolvent, but the Andromeda would for sure. Likewise, an 80ft sailing yacht could never run me insolvent. A 120ft couldn't either, but I wonder if it would lose out on charters to far more elaborate multi-deck motor yacht s?
Dining for 8, sleeping for 10, cruising for 12...them maths be not computin' too good. Also, I love this guy's voice. He sounds the automated voice used for meme reading. The cocktail thing still cracks me up though
Usually not allowed on a charter yacht depending on flag state and where the boat is sailing because of bird strikes believe it or not. You would think kids, or drunk idiots...nope, birds fly into people and injure them. It can be a huge insurance liability obviously so you have to sign a bunch of waivers, but..., there are some boats, most of them motor yachts, that have them though. Believe it or not, if that is your criteria for a yacht charter, most charter agents can find a yacht that has one on it. I think Marcato has one, or did. Yachts for Sale has a walk-through video and he starts out the video in the crow's nest, but then doesn't mention it the whole tour. There used to be a charter boat in Costa Rica that had a crow's nest/tree house. You could sleep there. Then you could zip line down into the water because they pulled a rope behind the tender, or you just pushed the button. It was electric.
$131,500 per week. Cruises eastern med in the summer. You would have to ask about the winter. Don't forget, you tip higher on a sailboat than you do a motor yacht.
A lovely interior, but I would settle for the 2008 80ft Nordia Van Dam Sailing Ketch 'Ophira V' for its open deckhouse with 2 helm stations and a nice lounging arrangement, the deck saloon with another 2 helm stations and an acceptable seating arrangement, an aluminum hull, a ketch rig, reasonable draft, and circumnavigation ability with an interior that isn't too disgusting, as on most other vintage yachts. For myself, I want a circumnavigation ability, preferably with a centerboard, but the 92ft Palmer Johnson has a disgusting interior. The 'Spirit of Venice' would be another yacht I'd consider for my family because it is almost new, even though I don't like the tiles and the cabin layouts. The Arabella is too large and not as attractive as some of the motor yachts. The 'Victoria of Strathearn'/'Huckleberry,' I'd be keen on if it has a good charter market because I love its eclectic British interior. For a motor yacht, I'd want one with an Ice Class 2 or 1C classification, so it isn't too heavy but can survive knocks with mild ice and debris and has hangars for an onboard submarine and a helicopter. The Andromeda and Octopus, I'll never be able to afford, but the Alucia/Odyssey, I could perhaps. I love 20th century and contemporary interiors , but you only get those on new fiber glass ones or on motor yachts; since the aluminum ones are at least 20+ years old, it is impossible to find contemporary interiors on them, but they can always be redone. I want a large saloon, a large deck, a reasonable sky lounge, and a small fly bridge plus an owner's suite that is very extravagant. For, now, I can settle for something like the Ophira V, Spirit of Venice, or Palmer Johnson 92. I'll buy the larger ones only if they have good charter potential. This yacht has an exquisite interior, but a steel hull, which I want on motor yachts where one can't risk aluminum, but not on sailing yachts. I want an aluminum hull on a sailing yacht, neither a composite(GRP) nor a steel one. I would also like to have a centerboard on a sailing yacht, unless it is a a relatively small yacht like the Ophira V.

It doesnt matter how beautiful the interior is, once you set the sails, it will start rolling.. Motor yatchs wont roll as it has stabilizers, there will be only pitching in the stormy seas..

I assumed this boat was for sale but looking at the interior I guessed it's only for charter. My hunch was eight. It's a lovely boat but it definitely lacks character.

The American habit of saying any body of water is the ‘Ocean’ is understandable as left and right they have Oceans, however most others have ‘Sea’s’ like in the case of this video .. more than likely she’s sitting in a sea, not an Ocean….

My assumption is that there is a lot more work under sail for the crew on a sailing yacht than a motor yacht as you could imagine
