  • Wire Stone Donut Pendants - How to make wire jewelry
    I would like to share my knowledge and skills so that you can study online
    With simple steps and simple tools you can do it yourself. Can be replaced with silver wire or gold wire and gemstones for jewelry more valuable
    Or simply use cheap material like copper wire to make gifts for friends, family or for yourself
    With creativity you can change some details to create your own style
    It is possible to combine different stones or crystals to produce different patterns

    Harder than it looks first time around. It looks more like a snowflake then what you have. Definitely have to oxidize it cuz I scratched the silver wire. Thanks for the idea, I'll have to try it again soon. You do brilliant work!

    your wire work is amazing. I will try to make this but it seems like you need lots of patients and practice so as not to scratch the wire or the stone. Beautiful work

    I love this design it looks cosmic! Do you use soft or hard wire?

    • @LanAnhHandmade
      @LanAnhHandmade  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I used to round copper wire - magnet wire (type of wire not used to make jewelry, Its price is very cheap) . it's the only kind I found where I lived for many sizes. I do not know exactly what type it was, can be normal copper wire, it have plating layer, and not dark by time
      you can change to suit the material you have

    I'm sorry about what I said about asking you to speak, you do this wonderfully. I'm wondering, this is such a good design that it seems you can add to it, bits and pieces. Can you use this on a larger donut pendant as well? I love donut pendants and have always wanted to come up with really cool bails for them with wire.
    You really do make it seem so easy.

    Do you use just round wire for your projects? I know that there is half round and flat shaped wire as well.

    • @LanAnhHandmade

    • @LanAnhHandmade
      @LanAnhHandmade  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You have a big stone, The diameter is three times my stone, I do not know exactly, but you can try using 3-4m wire 20-21 gauge. wish you success

    I have the hardest time following the videos being a newby. I can't tell if your taking turns with each piece of wire or working one at a time. It looks like one at a time but I don't have enough wire to make twelve rounds, it's a mess in the middle and the wire keeps kinking up on me. I'm going to try going back and forth now, I'm hopeful. I'm wasting so much wire.

    Wish I could see what you are doing at the beginning. I see your hands, but not the donut and how your are wrapping the wire around it. I've been trying to imitate you, but I can't seem to get it started correctly.

      I had a hard time too. Had a hard time looking where to put the wire in the hole, if it was right in the middle or off to side. I think and did lines of three and then started over again. I restarted mine three times. Look more like a snowflake in the end. LOL

    I have been doing wire work for quite awhile and I can say this video was difficult for me to follow, nevermind someone who has new to wiring. I highly suggest that you at least add a voice to guide along with your work, it would make a big difference.
