please keep talking Gray, i stumbled upon your magnificent voice one day while searching for new channels to subscribe to. still loving the train vids!
You are aware that you've started a trend at my work place, right? When we have some sort of hard job, you can hear colleagues screaming "the freaking wolves!"(from the episodes of The Long Dark)
Matt Hudson there are, actually, glow plugs in diesel engines, but they do not produce sparks, they heat the combustion chamber, so fuel explodes when compressed.
Артем Стоянов diesel engines, don't have any spark plugs. glow plugs heat the air in the combustion camber, but if you live in a warm area you don't even need glow plugs either. what they showed was the fuel injector.
Hey Gray, just a little tip, don't blow all your money on upgrades at once, just do what you've been doing with them (upgrading when something doesn't have that %100 chance). The last thing you want to do is max out something for no reason, then finding out that you need to upgrade something else right after doing that. I've done that in one of the other mechanic simulator games before because I'm an idiot lol
Having been a profession auto mechanic for 20+ years, the last thing I want to play is a mechanic simulator. I only wish it was just clicking a button, rolling a mouse wheel.
me being a truck driver the worse game for me is American Truck Simulator. After three or four weeks on the road don't really want to sit and stare at screen driving. I mean my days off I refuse to get behind the wheel of any vehicle haha. don't get me wrong I like my job get to see the country but it gets tiring driving all day everyday. anyway good video keep up the great work. o yeah you should talk more and not be so quiet!
GrayStillPlays, when you see parts that look rusted and you think they might be broken/worn out, it is because some parts may be low as 70% durability. However, the clipboard states that the minimum percentage of durability is 70%. Therefore, there might be parts that look worn but aren't worn that much. ;)
Gray! A loud engine actually can indicate damage and a defect, you have to remember defects usually make whistles or thunks XD that's gonna be louder than what an engine would normally run at so when a conductor says 'it doesn't sound right' it may genuinely not be running right.
also I'm a race car driver a little race car driver and I race a quarter midget's at little New Smyrna Speedway and ambassador Speedway my race car number is 21
Gray, there is a bug in Steam train job order 5 where 1 part have 2 tasks to do. worst job is steam order 25, where you need to strip the whole train. the order of work is Diesel>Electric>Steam
Technically, all trains are electric (with the exception of steam of course). Diesel Engins are just generators for electric motors that drive the train. Cool eh!
LOL Grey, great pondering about your talking. You're damn right. BTW: good thing you dropped the No Time For BS. Although it was kind of your schtick, it was kind of like a commercial for a product stating it does something really well, but doesn't do at all in reality. :P Please keep talking BS! We love you for it (at least I do anyway for what that's worth). Oh and don't mind people hating on the voice, that's totally subjective. I for instance hate the one of jacksceptictank. To them: move along people, nothing to hear here (or you either mute the sound since the man plays great games and some unique ones at that too!).
and yes this is my real name and my old videos are terrible so I mainly just watch and laugh along side with my friends as we watch every single video. thumbs up to you man!
Hmmmm, 2 things of that game, the ‘spark plug’ was definitely a fuel injector, yes diesel engines can and do have glow plugs but southern ran motors sometimes wont, and the ‘valve tappers’ are valve rockers, just my 2 cents of a diesel mechanic
If you want to be technical the flywheel end is considered the back of the engine on locomotives from EMD's perspective. Also for future reference what they are calling a sparkplug in the game is really a fuel injector.
The ignition of diesel: air/ fuel mixture enters combustion chamber, piston moves upward to compress it, compression is so high that it ignites the air/fuel mixture, causing explosion/ fire, forcing the piston down, thus providing power to the drive system. GLOW plugs keep the chamber warm because diesel will turn to gel when it is cold. SPARK plugs are use in gas engines to ignite the fuel. (Spark, flame, gas burns) while diesel is not flammable, it is combustible. So a spark would not ignite it, it requires extreme compression/ pressure. This game does not accuralty portray Diesel engines 100%. But it's close.
It would be a good gesture to all the voice commenters in previous comments to maybe do an entire future episode in your Bill Cosby voice. Feel free to put in many... many obscure references to pudding.
Unlike a spark plug that is working continuously while you drive, a glow plug is only needed during the ignition process. The glow plug works by electrifying the heating element so it heats up and emits visible light (hence the name).
I don't think most race car drivers would really like playing racing games is what I thought you were going to say outside of simulators I don't think racecar drivers play racing games. I welcome opinion on this but wouldn't it be that you would always spot problems in the games feedback and such so that it is always unrealistic. I think it would be the shoemakers kids don't have shoes situation where because you do it at work you don't really want to do it at home. Anyways I completely agree I don't think I would watch silence and I notice in some youtuber especially when streaming they get really quiet for long periods of time. Your doing it right keep up the good work keep being yourself it's the randomness I watch it for.
It is so funny that they call this simulator, but it doesn't actually simulate what it should. I hear the joy of working on an engine but in real life, the major engine job would take hours to days. Oh well, people have to stay interested. By the way, get used to taking stuff off because steam trains will be a lot of work.
if they complain about you talking then talk more and make their stress level go nuclear while the rest of us enjoy these video's (cue the scary music) an it only cost a finger or 2 and click the like an subscribe button
grey, ive been noticing your audio is sounding strange in the last week or so. every once and a while your voice will fade out entirely for a few seconds. i suggedt messing around with your mic's noise gate.
Your voice is what makes the videos, but, a smooth jazz gray would be dope
You said look to you right and that you were there and I did...
And my trash can happened to be there.
Love your channel BTW. 👌
Gray i think in the electric garage you can accept a few jobs at time seeing there are 3 tracks in that workplace
please keep talking Gray, i stumbled upon your magnificent voice one day while searching for new channels to subscribe to. still loving the train vids!
im glad you talk .. and your always welcome in my home.. do it 4 da bois
4 da bois!
You are aware that you've started a trend at my work place, right? When we have some sort of hard job, you can hear colleagues screaming "the freaking wolves!"(from the episodes of The Long Dark)
Hahaha!
GrayStillPlays you are epic plz reply
GrayStillPlays you're a great TH-camr
Zach hi
Sven Hinka lol
everything was going great. then they listed a spark plug... on a diesel engine..😢
Matt Hudson there are, actually, glow plugs in diesel engines, but they do not produce sparks, they heat the combustion chamber, so fuel explodes when compressed.
Артем Стоянов the game shows something to heat up the fuel, but not the correct component
Артем Стоянов diesel engines, don't have any spark plugs.
glow plugs heat the air in the combustion camber, but if you live in a warm area you don't even need glow plugs either.
what they showed was the fuel injector.
I need a facepalm emoji because of this
Matt Hudson I understand and I cringed so hard
If a train engineer is complaining that his engine's too loud, I can only guess that it must've rattled a couple of his fillings loose or something.
your a very charismatic person
I love this channel so much

You didn't say no time for BS!!!!!! But that's OK there's never any BS with old Gray!
2:44 "Yes i am dammit, look to your right." That litterally freaked me out a bit XD.
I love your vids Gray keep up the good work

also I'm a race car driver a little race car driver and I race a quarter midget's at little New Smyrna Speedway and ambassador Speedway my race car number is 21
Really enjoy mechanic videos! Can't wait to see more!
Gray, there is a bug in Steam train job order 5 where 1 part have 2 tasks to do. worst job is steam order 25, where you need to strip the whole train. the order of work is Diesel>Electric>Steam
zarazka 3
so the job order is like a full overhaul
pretty much it is. You need to repair the boiler and to do that you need to remove everything from cab and some parts from the tracks
Technically, all trains are electric (with the exception of steam of course). Diesel Engins are just generators for electric motors that drive the train. Cool eh!
I am liking you
a don't worry grey I watch your vids to listen to (sounds creepy I know but it's nice to have something to listen to while I'm at work)
LOL Grey, great pondering about your talking. You're damn right.

I gatta say I want to play this game now
I'm new to the channel and I like your videos and you're so funny keep up the good work!
and yes this is my real name and my old videos are terrible so I mainly just watch and laugh along side with my friends as we watch every single video. thumbs up to you man!
i looked to my left when you said look right...
Ryan Reynolds i did the same XD
Savage
Ryan R Same...
GrayStillPlays, if you look around on the map, you can see all three depots; diesel, electric, and steam.
You remind me of markiplier sometimes 😂
true, I think that it's when they fail miserably or Gray's voice comes in this phase to sound like Mark

The train used to find other trains is an ES44AC(?). It's just a guess based on the shape of the locomotive and the position of the lights.
28:05 Thomas and the magic railroad sure is different from what I remember
I love you
YAY YOU BROKE THE GAME. . .
CARNAGE YAY! ! !
Gray: Look to the right..
Me: My! Gray is a door!
3:46 oh ok... when i look to my right THERE IS A FUCKING WALL!
this is not a channel fuck you
salty Mario.. ^
Brett Reeves i would say im salty too but
walls are people too :(
Sad. Over Dramatic Jump to dead.
Yes it is true that you interact with us, and you're my steak to the right of me.
2 years later and that glitch with the last train happened to me, too.

Job order number 12 was a BNSF. Secret painting in office is a Union Pacific pulling car carriers
I used to build trains
3:46 when i looked to my right my Darth Vader alarm clock was staring back at me.
It would be a good gesture to all the voice commenters in previous comments to maybe do an entire future episode in your Bill Cosby voice. Feel free to put in many... many obscure references to pudding.
first time seeing the insideof an dizial - elecrieke locomotive
you should try Car Mechanic Simulator
I miss storytime with gray ( house flippr)
shades of GrayStillPlays

When gray said look to your right I did and there was my cat staring at me. I don’t know what to think anymore
I love how you say boys..... like there aren't any girls watching your channel.
Proud to be a woman train enthusiast.

I realized this is an old video it's in reference to the guy that said you talk too much.
Im the 225th watch ing this video
0:10 I heard a train horn!
Real life
Heck that's the reason I talk during my let's Plays. Is if hear topics, and if interesting comments.
It is so funny that they call this simulator, but it doesn't actually simulate what it should. I hear the joy of working on an engine but in real life, the major engine job would take hours to days. Cubicle simulator = The Stanley Parable on Stream
The Stanley Parable was a pretty amazing game.
If you think you can beat a Train by going over the tracks before it goes the train will stop a Mile after it hits you
To my right is a doorway. Is gray stalking me?
if they complain about you talking then talk more and make their stress level go nuclear while the rest of us enjoy these video's (cue the scary music) an it only cost a finger or 2 and click the like an subscribe button
The steam engines are in but you got to go through the diesels and the electric engines.
graystillplays you need to watch asdf movie
#Rip train (3rd)
grey, ive been noticing your audio is sounding strange in the last week or so. every once and a while your voice will fade out entirely for a few seconds. i suggedt messing around with your mic's noise gate.
I actually prefer watching gamer who talk. The biggest turnoff when trying to find game play is when videos have no commentary.
yes games do learn ppl suf
even the army uses it man
i never tasted money my buddy gray said that money tastes delicious
GrayStillPlays, do you have any online friends?
Lamo bout peed myself 😂😂
he turns into markiplier at 10:23
