Beautiful countryside and relaxing sound of 1st generation dmu in motion. Very clever use of in cab and buffer cameras - gives very different perspective and can match the driver's control movements to the train's actions. Excellent! Thanks for sharing and look forward to more
Might I ask what camera and lenses you use for filming in 4K? It always seems to look good, even in a situation where you can't adjust the camera while filming!
Of course you can, some people seem to want to hold on to filming secrets but I would love to see everybody doing this. I use a GoPro 10 for the main shots and an order GoPro 7 for the internals or more unusual shots. I have tried other cameras in the past but these just seem to do the job really well. Overheating can be an issue in some steam locos but as long as you put it somewhere with good air flow it's fine. In the early days a lost a lot of cab footage inside steam locos 😂

Engine is silent!
The audio is taken from a microphone in the cab, cheating a little bit but it has good results. Thank you for watching
