I’ve run a 475 and I have run a D11 cat in rock in dirt in mud and I stil prefer the high track cat because of the ride especially in rock. All those roller bogies are rubber padded and with the final drive up high you get less shock and vibration on the operator and the tracks don’t load up as much in mud . I’ve been an operator for 40 years now . Got in the operating engineers union in 1976 started on scrapers then tamper cats then slope cats then pioneer cats and loved that most . Busting in haul roads to the top of 300 foot cuts busting in down ramps for scrapers off those 300 foot cuts . Moved millions of yards out here in Southern California back in the day . I got one of the first 9L high track dozers in California. Before that we were running D9G and D9H dozers
Awesome thank you for all the hard work. People have no idea how hard it is to build everything around them. I also really like the CAT equipment great machinery.
yes the d475 is large by every dimension than d11...still d11 can hold a large blade with less fuel consumption than d475. technologically the cat d11 ahead of dozers
Ive driven this dozer it can rip solid sandstone and ironstone its never often beat they last about 5 years on our quarry then they get shipped out abroad
I'm so used to seeing large CAT dozers that this one looks a bit odd without the high-mount drive axle. 'Flat' treads like this mean a 'small' dozer in my mind, but that one is certainly not small.
@@mreyepop1134 Not in production anymore, last was be in 2012 or so. D475 is currently biggest dozer in the world(what in production) slightly larger than d11

Yea some weapon if a machine!! Would have like to seen the transport of her 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻⚖️ hope the driver calendar his tracks at end of shift of that abrasive sand 🤷🏼♂️
Ive run them both man. Komatsu is garbage. Only one id give a chance too is that px 71. Hydrostatic drive. But CAT has them all beat to shit. 9 out of 10 operators will say the same thing which speaks volumes in itself.

Wow Sir that had to be one heck of an experience. Thank you for sharing
Yeah unfortunately D-11 couldn’t handle the Silica Sand , that’s why Patterson Quarries purchased the D475-8 Direct from Japan,
I’m Operating Engineers, local 66*, and I agree.
@@steviechalmers1218yeah we have 2 475s and 2 d11r's at work. Can't get me off the 475 I've been in for almost 3 years now.
Even heavier than D11, this dozer is beast, thanks for video
No it’s not, they’re the same size…
@@brockwelcherNH 475 is heavier
@@UnknowableAbsolute What, by 10,000 pounds? Pretty much the same…the D11 would still eat that machine alive
@@brockwelcherNHoperated either? I've done a few thousand hours in both. Visibility is the only thing the 11 does better than a 475.

Tracks like these are good for mud and sand.
Продуманная лёгкая в управлении и достаточно производительная машина.сам работаю на 375 ďy
The size of these makes it look like a lego minifig driving a normal size dozer.
What a dozer! Call it "Godzilla" lol.k I do believe the background sound might be a rock crusher or dirt sizing shaker.
Защита на опорных катках. Не когда такой не видел.
Эта защита опорных катков идёт как дополнительная опция.

So what’s the biggest Komatsu dozer currently ?
This on video
575 komatsu dozer

Este buldocer es mas fuerte ke el D11
I love your videos.
These modern machines are gradually replacing the human eye to do the heavy lifting

Well, , , There is big and then there is bigger. I think I am liking the bigger side of that equation, LOL.
Muito bom video 👍
Komatsu, God Bless You! When you grow up you could be a kitty Cat!

D11 Cat got this thing beat all day. Specially on rough ground or pioneering.
Not true in this circumstance, Paterson’s Quarries tried to use a D11 but it didn’t meet the requirements of the site.

Ah yes, new, can see its new but the clickbait for ebegging is old.
not that exciting, we have 6 of them lol
Proud of you lol
Lame looping, unrelated sound track.
Seems like such a waste of fuel
