I find it puzzling why Ireland is being aggressively promoted to Indian students. It’s a small island nation, and comparing it to the UK isn’t entirely fair. While getting a job in Ireland was relatively easy during the tech hiring boom of 2021-2022, the situation has drastically changed. The current job market is far more challenging for international students, with fewer opportunities but a significantly larger influx of Indian students, potentially tripling the competition. Freshers, in particular, should avoid Ireland. If you have proven experience in a tech field, say 4-5 years, it might still be worth considering. However, for fresh graduates, it’s a risky proposition. It’s difficult to understand why so many are willing to take on substantial loans and gamble with their future for the next 2-3 years, only to face struggles and potentially return to India without achieving their goals.
I was feelings worried about my future that what would happen if I go to new zealand for my Masters due to this. But now I have accepted the fact that it wouldn't change or slowdown. Why should I delay my goal of settling abroad just because I happened to be born in India at wrong time

Quite frankly I cannot relate to the aspirations of young Indians today. My generation grew up in a poor country -- but we did not talk as much about money. Nor were we as materialistic. We craved knowledge -- not information. This thirst for discursive knowledge was a direct legacy of the highest India. We followed the creed of simple living, high thinking.
So this can be related to the per capita gdp growing. Most of the India still do not have such aspirations, as they have existing debts or do not like the idea of extreme change with their living or they do not fall in such financial category to spend. Your take on knowledge is quite gray. The previous generation was part of pioneer in India's development and any type of formal education would land a job and 60% would have been the highest marks achieved and now to qualify highly competitive exams one should be in the 99th percentile and 97% marks are common,so to under appreciate such achievements is injustice, because human body didn't evolve per say in one generation for such high achievements to be possible but people started pushing limits and the bar is set higher, i.e why such aspirations exists in youth, they are not satisfied with India's environment standards and seek something better, nothing wrong, those countries had more than 100 years of independent development and India didn't. There is no fault in living extravagantly but not outside personal means, simple living can be a curse because in india it can quickly change to stinginess, leading to unfulfilling life.
The best places in Europe for tech jobs are Ireland, Netherlands, Germany , UK and Sweden. Other countries dont have that much opportunities and the pay is also much lower.
