Because I don't speak English as a first language. I always had difficulties and problems to identify the correct pronunciation of many homophones. Thanks for your excellent video. Hugs from Brazil.
I cannot imagine anyone giving this marvelous educational marvel the thumbs down, could any one of them who critiqued explain why with an example. Another critic did not like Father v Farther and Bean v Been, nit picking. Fantastic material
Easy, straight forward, plus the examples, it was air-breathing. Please keep up the good work. Excellent video, indeed. I was shocked to know: Farther and Father are homophones, my goodness.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart with all my heart and soul! It's just that our Ukrainian language also has a direct meaning, may the Heavenly Father and the Heavenly Mother bless you!
Thank u a lot. Today i learn something a new. Sometimes this type of words create lots of confusion. So thanks again to making this video.. It's also good for children to teach this type of words.
However, using music in this video is not bad. It is because when you are drawing pictures, people can use that time listening to music and also it is kind of a repetitive topic, ..so music is okay. However, when explaining more complicated things (ie: not repetitive things ....but things requiring concentration and thinking ....rather than route memorization like this topic, music can be distractive. Thanks for another magical video.
Excellent Video! Excuse me for chiming in, I would appreciate your initial thoughts. Have you heard about - Millawdon Preserve Balance Trick (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? It is a smashing exclusive product for learning how to effortlessly manifest the life of your dreams without the hard work. Ive heard some super things about it and my cousin at very last got great success with it.
I'm enjoying all the videos on this channel, but I have a problem with the way you pronounce "Farther" you pronounce it just like "Father" (no r) is this a regional thing?
Thank you very much for this video but I'm not sure if there is a mistake at 10:44 according to what I've been taught and to the dictionaries that I've consulted "farther" and "father" are not homophones in American English, for the first "r" in "farther" actually sounds, unless, of course, you speak with a British acent. In that case the "r" is silent.
My _aunt_ got bitten by an _ant_ Talking _aloud_ is not _allowed_ in the library My friend _ate_ _eight_ cheeseburgers and got a stomachache I felt _blue_ because the Big Bad Wolf _blew_ my house down _Meet_ me at the _meat_ market I need to reserve a table _for_ _four_
Accurate video with two exceptions:*Farther and father are pronounced differently than shown here. in 'farther,' the first syllable is r controlled. The word 'father' was pronounced correctly, but not 'farther. ' The second set that was not correct was 'bean' and 'been.' Bean was pronounced correctly. 'Been' has a short e sound and is pronounced like Ben.
What about banned in the building?. The bare-naked.. What about blue means lonely or sad? Beak-bake..wine cellar, serial number, curse, further, So this called homophones.. I feel like I'm intelligent. Thank u for your video!.

The background music flowing in and out makes it a bit hard to focus on the content. If you correct this, please let me know. Otherwise great video.
