This video, coupled with one other, is actually really good! I followed the following steps before I tried the steps in this video: 1. Noise removal 2. Compressor (-15 to -18) 3. Equlizer (Curve to Bass Boost) 4. Repeat Step 3 with Treble Boost 5. Hard Limiter (-3.0) 6. Normalize (Sorry if the instructions are not descriptive enough, I copied and pasted from a comment lmao).
I appreciate you going out of your way to make a tutorial and everything, but i have to say, putting reverb in is BAD, the more reverb your voice has the less professional your going to sound, in fact i thought that you just had a bad setup until i saw that. Many people will even pay thousands if not hundreds of thousands of dollars on a good mic and a soundproof room to NEGATE reverb, just wanted to get that out of my system, reverb is a bad idea for a professional sounding voice
Why is there a constant background hum in my recordings? It sounds like I'm in a bus terminal. I turn my ac off, wait til there's no noise outside and have treated my room
The problem is I bought a 300 dollar microphone, spent 3 days setting up and tweaking. Buying any noise gate I could afford. And It sounds like I'm speaking through a tan can on the other side of the room.
My thing is that I record on the PlayStation and everything gets wrapped into one audio track. The game audio. My voice. Any excess noise from the tv and heater. It’s a lot and I’m having trouble eliminating all of the multiple sounds while keeping my voice and the game music intact.
Help, Bad audio windows 10, i think i have narrowed it down to this, Audio Enhancements, on or off, if i watch U tube clips and stuff like that i need them on, if i play a recorded piece of audio i have recorded off the iplayer i need them off....i cant seem to find a common denominator lol.....if i set the equalization in Audacity to simulate the equalization when it is off, it still sounds horrible, question is what do these audio enhancements actually do and can i change it in audacity so i can play anything with them turned on, thats the windows default...i have read a few things about it but doesn't tell me what i want to know...Fred.

Speak clearly. Don't mumble. The end of the video almost put me off. It's alright, your content is good. You showed us how to do something and we appreciate that. No need to over do it. If you want to announce when you have other videos available, do so in an entertaining/presenting manner. For me personally, this being actual feedback that I can offer you, it sounded like you were pleading with your audience to like/subscribe/follow you. That's not what you want. The content speaks for you, that is enough.

Is there any way to save this as a preset so basically when we need to apply it we can do it very very easily and quickly
yes in audacity there is a thing called macros go to tools at the top and create a macro, you can apply all the filters and effects in one go

Is there a way to edit out background music and noise if everything is on the same track? Cause when I try I wind up with a robot sounding voice.
make sure u plug your mic in Befor u start audacity. ive done it Befor. if it wont work then idk. but try that.
