I wish we could pick where walls were to take them down between rooms or add them on the outside of the house. I struggle for AGES trying to find a configuration where I can access two floors and still have complete walls and I can't manage it with the stupid unit limit and fixed walls.
Tip for anyone who want outside decor- you can throw down bright blooms outside. You can't put them on/in the house, but so far, mine have survived both blood moons and leaving the area for an extended period. The only thing that destroys them is if you enter build mode.
@@J4057 I did an experiment with the wreaths from Kakariko and the Toy Seals in Gerudo town and unfortunately they despawn as soon as you leave, or save the game and return. The same goes for brightblooms. If you want some cute photos, you can put stuff down, but anything not fused to weapons in weapon stands gets despawns if you leave, so remember to pick everything back up.

Nintendo could've made something really fun with this. No limits with building blocks, being able to customise certain rooms and also have a workshop area to craft arrows or weapon from ore you've mined.

On the other hand I decorated it with brightbloom seeds for kicks, and by golly those things sure do not like despawning. The Tarrey neighbors prolly can't see the stars anymore because of all the light pollution
@@Gabo2oo LOL that's funny. I actually really like that brightblooms [in particular] don't despawn easily because that way I can easily see where I've already completed in the depths/caves/wells. You can use different arrangements of 3 blightblooms on cave/well openings to signal that you've already completed that cave (I know they have little check marks that signal cave completion, but I use it for raw material farming). Also, it seems that you can have about 250 or so at any one time, and once you place more than the limit (anywhere in the world, or maybe it separates depths and surface and counts them separately, not sure), it'll start removing your oldest brightblooms when you place a new one.
At 2:28 (fantastic timing with the dragon outside, by the way. Very atmospheric) I recommend to flip the garden 180 so that the fence is on the opposite side. Increases the space you have, making the area feel bigger when you move around.
I now realize the true purpose behind putting the unfuse shop in Tarrey Town: *decorating Link's house* Cute seal plushies from Rjiu's room, a cute vase from the Rito town, bits and bobs from the Sky Islands, unique devices from Shrines, and more. Fuse them to your shield or weapon, teleport to Tarrey Town, pay a small fee to detach, then boom! A bunch of decorations souvenirs! Use Ultrahand to arrange it how you want and you have a nicely decorated home! Cozy house indeed Nassi! 😊

The way they just slightly changed the nostalgic music for all the different settings is enthralling but a little jarring at the same time. Even in the depths if you listen to the music you can hear subtle undertones of the dungeon music from the original LoZ on NES
grante and Hudson construction can literally help you build rooms in this house in like seconds but they couldn’t of ever gotten started on hyrule castle and it’s been 5+ years..
Pretty cool layout. I built mine with a hole in the center then carefully built a triforce pattern using the empty triangle room as an open air second floor.
Hope a future update gives use more rooms, maybe a balcony rail, decorative walls & walls with a window, and a way to save items permanently in rooms (like the seal plush) and that they can’t exit your plot of land.
So funny you put those dragon shards behind the stairs, where they give up a vapor/fume. I joked with my kids, due to the boxes back there, that is where my dirty underwear is. Now they make me go to Link's house and show them my dirty underwear stash. This would add to the effect, lol.
Neighbor: Quick, hide, that Link guy is coming by to invite us for tea and sit at the table in his house. Then all he does is show of his shields and bows and talks about how he acquired them and what he uses them for. LOCK THE DOOR!!!

I spent at least an hour building mine…seeing this, I like your layout better, I just need to figure out where to put my goddess and mural…and I’ll miss my Koi pond (I use Amiibo drops to add fish). I wish we could have had just a few more rooms…but this cozy house shows that you can build something really nice!
It's almost perfect. You even have 2 sword racks (that's my personal requirement as well). Clever use of the triangle rooms too. However, I didn't spot a prayer room, so a point off for that. 😊 I did like how you went out of your way to decorate your space before posting, so kudos for the extra effort.
You really have to be creative to make a cohesive house. I had to put the pool on its side to close up a conveniently shaped wall hole, and I used an entrance block inside combined with the bedroom to get a proper bedroom with a door.
Gentrification must have hit Hyrule hard, to force landed gentry (a Knight! the Princess's own defender!) to build a house in Akkala, so far outside the Castle. I guess not speaking makes for poor court politics.
You get em at Gerudo Town above the throne room. Fuse plush to weapon. Go to tarry town and talk to the Goron so he can detach plush from weapon. Then just ultrahand your plush to house

wish we couldve edited the walls portion of the house parts or maybe more variety of house parts cause sometimes building an enclosed space makes it very formulaic. but then again this is a side quest to begin with
Hot take: the weapon mounts aren't worth the 600 rupees. Sure, they're cool to have to show off you favorite weapons, but I just don't think it's worth it. Especially if you're just making a nice house to relax in on your travels, like I did, and not a trophy room.

In botw the interior of link’s house was really lacking, now in tears of the kingdom its the exterior that looks bad

3rd game should fix that by letting us build both the exterior and interior of the house hopefully 😊
