I can't get over how beautiful this is, even down to the song choice and outfit colors. Those goddess wings and that castle piece balcony are majestic! 10/10.
Love all the little details, like the castle parapet, the hydrant pouring water down and the seal lid as a decor for the pool area, light dragon horns as Goddess statue wings, the water dungeon's falling bridge as the take-off platform, the Yiga Zelda for a photo, and putting the shield display room on its side is genius! It's such a sad thing that it's not all permanent, but seeing it all together like this is a master stroke! You did a fantastic job!
This is incredible. When i imagine and want to design a house in a fantasy world including mine, this is exactly the kind of stuff i'm looking for. It feels right, magic yet functional, and just... warm. Thanks for your hard work, it was very inspiring !
It's beautiful, you should make a tutorial to do that, I loved it, it looks like the knight academy from Skyward Sword, but instead of birds it's horses
Just want to say this is amazing, and you've given me yet another reason to replay this game. Imagine playing a game not to clear the story and save the world, but to do everything else and build a house. 🤣🤣🤣
Everyones gangsta until suddenly the red moon (idk how its called in English im spanish/Honduran) appears and takes everything away. 😿 I love the house btw! It looks so cozy and peaceful!
How in the Hyrule did you get all those items there together in one place without despawning?? And where did that first floating half stone with the triforce logo on it come from??
The total amount here is only 20 items, and the despawn limit is 21! It actually is possible to get more than 21 sometimes though, aha. I used rockets and autobuilt hoverstones to get them up (autobuilt so I can dispose of them easily and get more items out). The stone balcony is from Hyrule castle :) Line 359 on the "objects" tab of this spreadsheet (click the link for a map of where to find) docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1eHHFwGDsI3sHTOLaawlxKgxbiLG8ceHUHpbpC2Bj57k/edit#gid=0
I took that picture with the fake Yiga Zelda on the Great Plateau! She'll regenerate as long as the Campfire there is lit. I brought bookshelves, stone slabs and plushies from tarrey town to make a fake Hyrule Castle set, aha.
This is such a gorgeous and intricate build! I especially love the photo of Link and Zelda, and Zelda's secret study. Although I do have to wonder how they would bring the horses up and down from their sky stable, lol. I'm guessing you used rockets and hover stones to bring them up, and then very carefully rode them into place for the scene? Haven't tried bringing horses to the air yet myself, but it's definitely something I'd like to experiment with after seeing this.
You can still summon and add horses normally from the sky stable - Grante takes them in and out just like normal :) So he has some sort of magic stablehanding ability, lol - that's how I see it. The horses get to spend their nights safe from dangers above with their humans, and Grante takes them down magically in the daytime to enjoy the open meadow below. As for how I got them up, I used an autobuilt cage. Turned it on its side, and strafed Epona and the golden horse (mine is named Nayru, after the golden goddess of wisdom) inside. Flipped the cage right side up, rocket and hoverstone'd up. Also, thanks a ton for the kind words!
There is a hidden stake underneath! Though, perhaps not as hidden as I'd like - you can see it the splat it leaves on the goddess statue room wall, aha. 😁 Stakes a super handy, its also how I got the Seal Sculpture and the blue tile to stay up. Also, thanks a ton!
I used the fake yiga zelda on the Great Plateau! I fuse-stole stone slabs, plushies, and bookcases, unfused at Tarrey Town, and drove them out to the Great Plateau to make a set ^^

Yes, this is a great tutorial for how to do the floating house, and it works on all game versions: www.reddit.com/r/HyruleEngineering/comments/16vkyax/floating_house_tutorial/ I used the fake Zelda on the Great Plateau cave, too! But, I fuse-stole some stone slabs, bookcases, and plushies so it might look more like they were together in Hyrule Castle in peacetimes. I took them apart in Tarrey Town and drove them all the way to the Great Plateau. This (older and less clean aha) video shows some screenshots from the process: th-cam.com/video/sydWFsAv_Ak/w-d-xo.html
I discovered something yesterday while playing the game (slight spoilers) You can actually move the Zelda model in Hyrule castle during the Crisis at Hyrule Castle quest using the great leviathan bone and a flying machine. Technically this is useless but you can get some cool camera shots with it.
First of all, that looks so sick! Second, how did you get that pic with Zelda? I only know two places where we can find fake Zelda. This one I don’t know
Thanks a ton! The pic was zelda was taken at the Great Plateau. I fuse-stole stone slabs, bookcases, and plushies, and dragged them out there to create a fake photoshoot set :)
Awwww, thanks so much! 💕 Yeah, it would be cool if you can get them to stay. Buuut, the house design is still a fine paradise even without the extra decor 💕😊 The first song is the botw main theme, the second is Prince Ralis is Saved from Twilight Princess!
An autobuilt cage - turned on its side, and I strafe the 2 horses in. Then I use rockets and hoverstones to get it up, I destroy the cage and place the horses. And thank you! ^^

No mods! Totally actually possible! And I play on 1.2.1 (current patch) as well. The link to the tutorial to float your house is in the description. As for the items in the house - they aren't permanent - they despawn when I left, but, worth it to make a nice art piece out of them for a recording's sake.
You can fuse stuff like the hyrule lab of rock to your weapons and unfuse them in terry town, then walk it over. I think theres a limit in the game on how many assets you can use and the game will remember i think its like 10-15? I remember stocking my house kitchen by dropping items on the floor and moving them into place without fusion. And i took some of the building supply for carriages and made a patio deck. So get creative! .... To get it in the sky you need to launch it with rockets during build mode.
Yep, no mods! Kind of flattering when people think I used mods, aha. Best tutorial for how to float your house is linked in the description. The item despawn limit is 21 items, and this house just uses 20, actually. 😊
I tried to do the floating house thing, but i failed. Spent way too much time on it. Dude kept saying there was an foreign object in the building zone.
Make sure your rockets and hoverstones are at the very top of the house - the only building that should be above them should be disposable. If grante says theres a forgein object, it means the rocket array is too low and you need more rockets or less weight to get the house higher. Check the vid description for the best tutorial on how to do it! A lot of popular youtube tutorials arent great for troubleshooting.
How did you attach the foyer to get it to float? I’ve tried a bunch of different ways, but can’t find the right way to attach the foyer so the house stays balanced, it’s always tilted. Also, how did you only use 11 hover stone and 9 rockets without using a battery?
I did use a big battery, sorry for the confusion aha - big batteries are a necessity. For this house, the foyer was deck-up and was placed at the very top (above Zelda's study). The protruding square was above the study room directly. I had to really fiddle with the stones to place them in exactly the right alignment - I pulled out another hoverstone to stand on just to made it easier to ultrahand them around.
It does despawn, if I leave! But I didn't skydive from up above, thats a separate take. The scene where I paraglided in, I used a rocket shield to get up high.
Epona is a wild horse, and the golden horse is a summoned horse! I strafed them into an autobuilt cage and use rockets and hoverstones to pull them up ^^
